★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Situated on the second level of the building, this open modern Korean eatery serves up delicious classics. Attentive and friendly service. My only criticism is that the food comes out a little too fast -- I had barely started on the appetizer and the entree was already coming. Nonetheless, an enjoyable experience!
January 06 · Andy NgReally great lunch specials, though a little pricey (they just raised prices by $2 to $20), but you get a lot of food and great quality along with exceptional service. Just to make sure that everyone understands that the main reason to go to Dubu Maru is the tofu, so if you don't like tofu, then please skip this place.
November 05 · Matthew LeeIt's apparent once we got our orders that this restaurant uses quality ingredients. All their dishes were well flavoured, not overly salted, and of high quality, which is atypical of most Korean restaurants on the same block that just mix chili powder with water or use the common chili paste and MSG. Even their banchan sides were unique and of great quality! The restaurant setting was also very nice and there were fancy speakers that I once saw being sold at a French airport. Definitely would come back and highly recommend!
September 08 · Mandy KuoHighly Recommend Country-Style Set for Two (aka 시골밥상). Reasonably priced for very authentic Korean dishes.
January 06 · JeremyLoved the ambience, flavorful side dishes, and delicious and comforting soondubu. It was the best meal I could ask for after a long day of travel. Would 10/10 recommend this place.
