★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Absolute gem of a grocer/fast food joint! Gratefully stumbled upon it. As a food lover with a curious mind, I was happy to learn about the spice blends they both sell and use in their kitchen.1 - Great, eco-friendly, reusable container system to buy spices/blends to enhance your cooking at home under the guidance of the Oprah-approved chef/owner, Edy Massih. And be sweeter to the planet while doing it!2 - Friendly staff both front and back of house. Helpful and knowledgeable. Shout out to Nadia (FOH), Jordan and Miguel (BOH). I learned that they reopened recently after being closed for renovations.3 - To nosh on now, I got the Baked Za’atar Egg. Came with pita and you can help yourself to some extra tahini sauces. And if you eat-in, you get to use the cute af ramekins.4 - Interior decor and aesthetic checks off all of the boxes for the average Brooklynite or the curious tourist strolling instead of scrolling!Highly recommend for the foodies, the culturally-curious minds, and for those looking to cook more yummy food for themselves!
April 06 · Michael FordTucked away in the neighborhood and they recently renovated! I tried their spicy hummus, chili oil labneh, zaatar goat cheese, spicy halloumi and fresh pita, Manakish with honey and cheese and borek. Everything is so fresh and delicious
June 09 · Garima GautamI ordered Edy's catering for me and my wedding party to eat lunch on the day of my wedding. Everything was delicious but the "everything spanakopita" were to die for. Ordering and delivery were seamless. Highly recommend!
August 18 · Hana LeEdy catered our non profit's 100 person fundraiser and his grazing table was a highlight of the entire event. All of our guests were blown away by the beauty and deliciousness of his table. Edy was professional, communicative, and all around excellent to work with. Highly recommend for an event of any size and for any occasion!
September 12 · Chloe SarapasWedding Catering Review:We worked with Edy over the course of almost a year planning our wedding, and we can truly say no other wedding catering vendor we spoke to compared. We really wanted to work with a small business for our wedding catering if possible, and from the onset, Edy was so invested and committed to finding our unique wedding meal and vision. He worked with us to create a fully vegetarian wedding day and provided so many creative and innovative options to our preferences. He was always communicative, organized and supportive! we had a unique wedding day with a lot of guests, two ceremonies and meals from two different vendors: Edy was truly so helpful in helping make everything come together by being so on top of rental needs, logistics and more. Every time we spoke we always felt assured that he was thinking of every detail needed to make our day a success.and the food!!! we knew how good the food was at the grocer but to provide such an amazing meal at such a large scale was so incredible. all of our guests from all over the world thoroughly enjoyed our giant brown paper boards, plated meals and labneh mousse dessert station. It was exactly what we wanted for our day and Edy made sure everything was impeccable. Edy’s attention to detail, amazing food, and also his kind and lovely demeanor make him the best wedding caterer, run, don’t walk, to book him
