★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Ive been here a couple of times and the service is really great the ladies are always super sweet and accommodating when I come which is usually around lunch time on a weekday, mostly Fridays. I have tried the sancocho with white rice, which was ok. There wasnt an array of meats the way sancocho traditionally was prepared, and i was turned off by the small chicken wing inside the soup. While it wasnt bad it wasnt amazing just ok. Not delicious, just ok. Not everyone's sancocho is amazing so I gave them a pass. The next time I came, I tried some mangu with a side of bacon, since its a dominican spot, and the fried cheese wasnt fresh it was cold and spongy. The platano part was good but the sausage was also ok. The bacon was thin like paper, it wasnt worth paying extra for. My client ordered rice and beans, with a side of potato salad, a pastele, and some chicken with a little broccoli. He loved it but for me, again, it wasnt bad but it wasnt delicious the way dominican spots are known to be. Very subpar. Honestly I continue to pop in because my client who I usually take to lunch likes to go here so I appease him, and the ladies who work there are sweet so continue to go, but keep my order simple. The 3 stars are for the sweet ladies but other than that this place isnt really it, and thats just my honest opinion.
May 03 · Kayla MontalvoOne star was actually to much. This place was horrible. The waitress took our order then sat down to eat her own food. The table was dirty, the ketchup was rotten, the hot sauce had build up residue on the rim on the bottle. We waited over 40 min for the food to come and it was actually wrong. The waitress put in fried chicken for my boyfriend because he was black. How rude is that! They need to call John Taffer ASAP! HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND !!
September 17 · Sydney BI went out to eat with my mother and partner, and this was by far one of the most disappointing dining experiences we’ve had. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with rudeness the man who seats guests didn’t greet us properly and refused to seat us where we requested, even though the area was not reserved or marked as private.Once seated, the service only got worse. We waited a long time for our meals, and they didn’t even arrive at the same time. I had to ask the server twice about my meal just to get a clear answer—each time they walked away without explanation. When my food finally came, it was warm at best, not hot, and my family still had to wait longer for theirs. On top of that, no one checked in on us or asked if we needed anything. I had to go up and practically beg just to get water for the table. The service felt careless and dismissive the entire time, and we paid full price for a very poor experience. This is not how guests should be treated, and I can confidently say I will never be coming back here again.
July 12 · Kaylin MirandaWent for the first time. Service was great!! Did was very good! The only problem I had was getting 3 little oxtails with my meal. And since I’m African American,we do t like hard rice. Some of the rice was hard. But the food was delicious. I will definitely be back.
June 06 · Tanya Dupreei’ve ordered from here through grubhub numerous times and never had any issues. today i ordered and received a flan with mold on it. completely disgusted.
