★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I was roaming around the neighborhood waiting for a friend and I saw EMPANADA CITY! As a Proud Puertorriqueña, this place has my blessing!! Delicious empanadas, the dough is delightful, the customer service was diverse- Empanada City is Puerto Rican/Dominican owned and I was wonderfully assisted by a Venezuelan cashier! Getting back to the food, I had the signature Pollo and Pizza! It was delicious, the pollo wasn’t dry either which we LOVEEE!! I must add I did get the pink sauce which is your traditional, mayo, ketchup, and garlic. It was only 30’cents, I don’t blame them for charging, the signature empanadas are only $3.00 which is an unbeatable price for their quality. I also got their Fruit Limeade, which comes with fruit inside the cup- I LOVE! I can’t wait to go back and eat more.
June 07 · Justina Perezgreat empanadas and super fast service. tried shrimp, carnitas, mushroom, and plantain and cheese - shrimp was fantastic, but the plantain and cheese was next level. easy takeout spot if you’re in the area. very filling and affordable. would recommend grabbing a few extra to freeze.

August 04 · Christina HernandezThe purpose of this review is not to hate or harm this restaurant in any way, shape, or form. That being said, I hope you take this review as an informative review.Atmosphere: Spacious space with decent seatings. There are also tables out when it's summertime. Not too clean as some customers leave trash behind and employees take long to clean it.Service: Acceptable.Food: These are definitely much better empanadas than others I've tried. However, they're certainly not the best. I ordered the Bacalao, Shrimp, Veggie Pastelon, Mixed Vegetables, and the Apple Pie empanadas. They mark their empanadas' dough with letters for easy flavor recognition. All of them were alright. However, none of them really hit that point of worthiness, considering their size and price. Oh, if you want a sauce, you'll have to buy it. Something that in other places is included with your order.Price: Honestly, the quality is kind of noticeable. However, the flavors are not exactly there. The flavor part does not justify their prices, at least for the signature empanadas. Perhaps the traditional ones taste better.
August 29 · Renato EscandellAs a Latina, i can say the following statement: THE BEST EMPANADAS IN THE CITY. So delicious, they even have their name branded on the dough. Just, so creative with the fillings. I got the shrimp and guava/cheese empanadas and I had to order more. Please come in here and try them out. You will not be disappointed !!!!!!
