★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Food: 3/10Wait time: 20 minutes (3/10)Service: 2/10Ambience: 8/10Price point: 4/10Would return: NoI was happy to find a Haitian restaurant with good reviews. However, my experience was not good at all. I ordered chicken with sauce and rice/beans and soup (which was pumpkin/soup joumou). Waited 20 minutes after ordering. When I got to my location with my food which was less than 10minutes away, I found the soup completely cold. Not warm, cold. How? I don’t know. Can only assume they did not reheat the soup or was already prepared in the container before time. The chicken and rice were taken from the warming containers in front, so I couldn’t understand why the order took 20 minutes when the soup was cold and the chicken/rice/beans was already prepared. The chicken was ok, the rice/beans was good, and it came with a small spoonful of Mac/cheese, which was also good. The soup was mostly pumpkin broth, with some cabbage, a few carrots, a piece of tough grizzle, a couple of noodles, no meat. Very disappointing. The food definitely was not worth the $27 price point, for its quality.
November 30 · JoJo Bean360I am very disappointed in this restaurant, as I’ve ordered here before, and left a good review, but since then, had to delete it. Today, I went for lunch, I ordered a small lalo and white rice anticipating and expecting good food to which I didn’t get. When I open this food to my demise and disgust here and behold the watery gravy, the watery spinach , and the only thing good was the rice. When I called the manager to reconcile, he stated that people ordered the food and have not been complaining as if I’m other people. Very disappointing how the food was made and how the business was handled. Will never go here again . Nan get mama.
January 17 · Jennifer JosephMy family ordered a large platter of black rice and a large platter of griot for an event (which was to come with plantains and sauce). We got to the event and the restaurant forgot to give the sauce and plantains. Additionally, the griot appeared to be boiled and then baked but not fried (although the flavor was truly on point). Hubby called to let the restaurant know about the mishap, and all he got was an apology, no effort to correct the mistake. Guest at our event, including myself, were saddened as we all know the texture of griot, and we all know sauce goes with the rice.I try to give full and honest reviews. This is not coming from a hater. My family are solid supporters of your business, however we are at a point where we are tired of the mishaps (in the last year we have purchased boulette that appeared to be uncooked, but was actually cooked but we later concluded red sazon must have been used, we also purchased soggy bullet, as well as Fritay, that appeared to be cooked in old oil etc). Please do better. We have not given up on this restaurant yet, but we are one mishap away from doing so.

March 20 · Nel SOwners like this one is the reason people stop supporting their own people business. I've been a customer for a few months now and had enjoyed the food. However, today I received the wrong food. I called to see if I can rectify it. The man who answered the phone as it appears to be his personal number has an attitude. His solution was to order more stuff so I can the food that I previously ordered. This is absurd, i used uber eats which has an absurd fee so it was not feasible to me. He proceeded to explain to me that he only gets 30% of what I paid and all the excuses. He then asked rudely do I want him to leave his house. That's not how you run the business. He claim I'm being difficult because I didn't want to spend more money to get what I originally paid for. Business like his will always fail because their attitude sucks. I can't support people who treat their customers like this.
