★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Walked past it the other day, and saw they got one last chocolate babka on the table so I got it. It looks very nice. The surface is very smooth, and I believe it was egg washed. The inside has many layers with chocolate spread all over. However, it was a bit on the dry side. I’d like to try their other items next time.
June 19 · Bradley CI'd recommend the blueberry corn bread, and the fruit tarts, and there are an assortment of other baked goods at Francesca's Bakery at the Union Square Greenmarket on Fridays and Saturdays. The baked goods source the grains and fruits locally in NY State. The other bakeries in the greenmarket have many more selections of organic and gluten-free and sourdough breads, but Francesca's has a large variety of sweet and savory baked goods from poppy seed strudels to rugelach, to cider and raspberry filled doughnuts at a good price.
