★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1short: like a great Chelsea, Tribeca neighborhood spotlong: Good Neighbor Queens is a place that lives up to the expectations of what Manhattan 2.0 and/or the New Manhattan that LIC has been and continues to be hyped as. Besides the very efficient layout, the people generate a warmth of service and high quality that makes customers feel VIP. Love is definitely a key ingredient here. I enjoy my lunch break here at least once per week. My go-to's are the: margherita pizza empanada; tuna albacore salad; and the smoked salmon with cream cheese. I keep an eye our for the daily drink specials as some are just too irresistible to pass up such as the tres leches iced coffee. My favorite item on the menu is the bread. The bread is that good nice and fresh high quality.location: within the Falchi building
August 08 · WHITE LIONThis place is truly one of the best hidden gems in Queens. I’ve been coming here for the past ten years and they’re still serving up good FRESH eats with service that makes you feel like family. The energy reminds me of an elevated corner store from back in the day, always good music with a large variety of things to snack on. The owners’ good vibe will have you start your day off right and rushing back before they close. It’s beautiful to experience a space that clearly has so much passion poured into it.Definitely worth popping in and saying hi.
June 27 · Ken LitWhen you come here the day after your first time because you're so amazed by the quality of the food, drinks, service. There is always a line but it's sort enough, due to quick service! Love their tuna sandwiche on rye bread! There coffees are top notch 👌 I plan on making this a usual go to place for lunch when ever I'm in NYC for work! Thanks again!!!!
November 30 · Nina (maltieskitten)The woman owner is very nice, but the male co-owner was insanely rude when I asked a simple question about my smoothie. (The question: how much peanut butter is in this smoothie? Not a crazy thing to ask at all....) The woman had to step in and answer for him, because he was being so unpleasant and dismissive. How do you manage a food establishment and not know basic things about the food you're serving? For the prices they charge, I'd love to not be treated like shit. Not very good neighborly! I won't be returning. Which sucks, because I went there a lot.
May 02 · Jacqueline AA wonderful, clean, tasty natural foods shop with an array of salads, sandwiches, soup, cookies, baked goods (including empanadas), chips, snacks, and drinks. It’s a rich and fulfilling alternative to the food choices nearby. The beet/quinoa/chickpea salad is the gold standard for salads. Hearty sandwiches like chicken salad with bacon if you need to be full all day at work. Prices match the high quality and service. Friendly staff who remember their customers, and express genuine cheerfulness and business acumen. A favorite spot for faculty and staff at nearby LaGuardia, and for many other employees in the Falchi building. Walk inside and it’s one of the first places on the right.
