This is more than just a place to grab your daily caffeine fix; it's a neighborhood staple built on the principles of quality, community, and a unique take on the coffee shop experience. From the moment you walk in, you can tell that Gregorys is different. It’s a family-run business with a clear mission: to provide excellent coffee and a diverse menu without any of the pretense. They see their customers, or "Gregulars" as they call them, as family, and that friendly, no-attitude vibe is palpable in every interaction.
The shop’s interior is bright and welcoming, with a clean, modern aesthetic that makes it feel both trendy and cozy. The atmosphere invites you to take a moment for yourself, whether you’re sitting down with a ceramic cup of coffee or grabbing a quick bite to fuel your hustle. This location, like others in the Gregorys family, is known for its commitment to serving not just great coffee, but also a fantastic selection of food that goes well beyond the typical cafe fare. Their menu is thoughtfully curated, with a focus on fresh, healthy, and plant-based options that cater to a variety of dietary needs, a feature highly appreciated by local New Yorkers.
The commitment to quality starts with the beans themselves. Gregorys roasts its own coffee in Long Island City four days a week, ensuring that every cup is as fresh as possible. This meticulous process results in smooth, delicious coffee that customers rave about. Beyond the coffee, the innovative food menu, curated by an in-house registered dietitian, includes everything from vegan croissants to delicious power bites and healthy parfaits. This dedication to both high-quality beverages and food makes Gregorys Coffee a standout choice in a city full of options.

August 18 · Azara MagowanCute, cozy spot. You can get coffee in a ceramic cup! If that's your thing. Coffee is really good, quite smooth. The energy balls and vegan brownie were really good.
April 16 · Nikki SyneFast, tasty, and plenty of seating. Varied baked goods - including vegan powerballs. Chocolate chip cookies are fantastic!
September 12 · Joacim MattissonVisited midday during the week and had arguably the worst coffee shop service I’ve experienced. The employee at the counter was slow to acknowledge me waiting, left me hanging when I gave a friendly hello, and when I asked a question about a drink, he seemed rather frustrated. The drink itself was fine, atmosphere nice and cute as I’ve always known Gregory’s to be—just that the one employee seemed to be miserable and letting the customers know it.
July 16 · Jane S.DO NOT COME HERE.If you’re looking for a place to work on your laptop, DO NOT COME HERE. The music is atrociously loud, so much so that the staff basically has to yell at one another. This is NOT a coffee shop, because they treat it like it’s a nightclub. Now, I love some mid-aughts music as much as anyone, but there’s no reason to blast music this loudly at 9:00am…This is a full avoid.
