Hollis Deli & Grill Reviews
coffeeprice
★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This establishment and its business practices warrant review, particularly in rural/urban communities where customer loyalty is crucial for success. I recently visited the ATM and withdrew $40, incurring the applicable fee. I had $1 remaining and requested a condom from the counter employee, who quoted a price of $1.25. I explained that I had just used their ATM and paid a fee, and asked if they could waive the $0.25 charge. The employee cited the presence of cameras and refused to accommodate my request. I emphasized that I was attempting to take responsible precautions and was only $0.25 short. The employee remained unwilling to assist. I suggested that this decision reflected poorly on the establishment, prioritizing profit over community well-being. This experience leads me to question the values of business owners who cannot accommodate reasonable requests. I encourage community members to reassess their support for establishments that demonstrate such inflexibility.
June 18 · Chris CyrptoYesterday my card was skimmed at this location at 8:00 am. By the afternoon, it was reported and I informed one of the workers at the store. Today for the first time ever the owners are there. Very strange, when I asked, the same worker said they are gone. I made a $24 purchase and over $1,000 was taken from my card right after in 4 separate transactions. They seem to be honest nice people, apparently not. DO NOT SWIPE YOUR CARD AT THEIR TERMINAL
June 05 · Christina Fox👎This place is trash. I witnessed the owner come from behind the counter to attack this blind lady with her service dog. I stood up for her and I called the police on this place. That's against the law to deny someone their service dog. To make matters worst the Bodega cat attempted to attack the poor Ladies service dog. Instead of controlling the cat he came from behind the counter as if to attack this lady that's when I stepped in I felt so bad for this lady. I urge you to NOT go to this bodega. Keep walking to the next block there's another bodega and a grocery store and dollar store right across the street. If you know anyone with a disability stop going to this place out of respect of your loved one with disability. This place projects hatred. I'm NEVER GOING BACK. I wouldn't give them another dollar not for a coffee id rather wait until I get to Manhattan and spend more at Starbucks than to ever give these people another cent. They need to be cleaning hotels not operating a business when they need to be educated about laws and customer service training couldn't help these people. If it quack's like a duck it's a duck! You know the saying! Simply putting it - They are PREJUDICE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE 😝🤢
November 19 · VirgojessPlace looks very clean, lots of food options made fresh. Very convenient, you can play your lotto here and grab a sandwich and hot coffee. Definitely a go to Deli!!
December 02 · Inga HicksBe very cautions, their credit card terminal is skimming and wiping out accounts.
