★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The best food I’ve had at a bar in a long time. Also maybe the best fried chicken sandwich I’ve had in NYC.Great vibe overall, very friendly and hospitable bartender/owner (Cedrick) and a proper cocktail. And a convenient distance from the ferry for nice little summer/spring trip stop. I’ll be back, especially since they show baseball and hockey and football. Nice.Get the adult happy meal! It’s everything you want and need 👍ALSO: great local spot. Cedrick knows the regular’s names and orders. Guests seem to know one another too.
April 17 · Meline RosalesI’m not a fry person, but the Cajun fries here are on ten, especially with their ranch dressing. Catfish was busting with flavor too. Super laid back stylish vibe and chill playlist
July 01 · Stephanie ForstallCame here on a Saturday night with no reservation and was able to get a table. Service was great! We started with Hush Puppies… they were a bit over done. It was hard to pick it up with a fork. Also wish there was a sauce to dip it in. The Mac & Cheese was super delicious as was the Skate! For the Ribs I wish the meat fell off of the bone more easily but it did not. The dessert we got was SO FREAKING GOOD - chocolate bread pudding.
October 20 · Alice DonovanThis black-themed restaurant in New York offers a friendly environment paired with excellent service. The ambiance is modern and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The highlight here is the steak—cooked to perfection by an amazing chef who clearly puts a lot of passion into every dish. The staff is equally impressive; they are attentive, warm, and genuinely care about your dining experience, ensuring that every detail is taken care of. Whether you're a local or visiting, this restaurant is a must-visit for great food and an unforgettable experience.
August 27 · TejiriAn absolute gem in the UES! Delicious food, generous serving sizes, and a nice happy hour cocktail. I've now been a few times and I think there's something for everyone. Both the steak frites and the shrimp and cheesy grits were heavenly and I always get the mac and cheese to start. Great for a nice date or a solo weeknight dinner.
