What is Worth Choosing
When visiting Hubei Home in Flushing, the primary focus should be on the regional specialties that define Hubei cuisine, particularly the celebrated street food of Wuhan.
The absolute must-try dish is the Signature Hot Dry Noodles (招牌全料热干面). This iconic staple of Wuhanese food is a simple yet complex dish of chewy noodles tossed in a rich, savory sesame paste, often topped with pickled vegetables, chili oil, and a selection of meats or ingredients. It's a foundational dish of the region and the benchmark for any authentic Hubei eatery. For an extra kick, consider a version with offal like the Beef Tripe Hot Dry Noodles to experience a more traditional flavor profile.
For a quick and satisfying bite, explore the diverse range of Roujiamo (Chinese Burgers). The Chinese Burger (老潼关酥皮肉夹馍) provides a perfect combination of tender, savory meat tucked into a crispy, flaky flatbread. The unique options like the Cumin Lamb Flatbread or the specialty Crayfish Meat Bun offer interesting and flavorful twists on this popular street food sandwich.
If you are looking for a more substantial meal, consider one of the rice bowls (Gai Jiao Fan). The Golden Pork Trotter Rice is an excellent choice for a hearty, braised, and gelatinous experience, a classic comfort food in Chinese cooking. For those who enjoy seafood with a spicy flair, the Spicy Crawfish Over Rice is a rich and decadent option that brings a fiery kick to your plate.
To complete the authentic experience, be sure to try one of the traditional Chinese drinks. The Mung Bean Soup (绿豆汤) and the sweet, fermented Rice Wine (糊米酒) are comforting, authentic accompaniments that perfectly complement the savory and sometimes spicy nature of the main dishes. Choosing these specific, regional items ensures you get the most unique and authentic dining experience that Hubei Home has to offer, truly setting it apart in New York's vast Chinese food landscape.

Not as sanitary as I had hoped. Saw one of the employees eating and left their food open on the bench and threw leftovers on the floor then proceeded to go to the kitchen.
June 19 · lenama1234567890The food here is good, but it's a scam. If you give me 10 yuan for the 9 yuan lunch, they won't give you change, even if you're ordering takeout. The side dishes and drinks listed on the double combo meal flyer aren't there. They said they haven't been providing them for a long time. So, can we make a new menu? It's not good to mislead people. Their attitude is like that of a state-owned enterprise. 😂
August 29 · Zhao AngelaThis store is very smart and knows how to do business. 👍When I picked up the food, I found that the operator took the wrong order. It was not a big problem, but the smart store still packed the dishes I didn’t order after I told them in order not to waste costs. The most exciting part was that in order to prevent me from finding out, he deliberately covered with his colleagues to block my sight, and deliberately tied a knot in the bag of food, and then pretended to be calm and asked me if I needed another bag to try to get away with it. After I told them again that they had made a mistake with my takeaway, the store told me confidently that this was what was on his order and it was my fault. He also complained that my attitude was bad, so funny😆, such an excellent business method must be booming business
May 29 · Cory SmithThis is a very rubbish restaurant. It is simply a robbery. One dish is missing from the order on the mobile app, and they forcefully deliver the remaining dishes to the customer's home without even saying hello. Can't I choose other restaurants among the hundreds of restaurants on Fantuan? You are missing one dish, and I don't want the whole order. Why do you force me to accept the remaining dishes? You are short of 20 yuan, how can your restaurant be so poor? Forcing customers to pay the bill and saying that they don't know how to operate the refund is just a robber's logic and a robber's mindset to force customers to pay the bill.
July 28 · Tracy XUI often order takeout, but the first time I ordered food here, the chef got really angry and started cursing 😂
