For the New Jersey diner looking to explore the menu, focusing on the core offerings of Korean-Chinese cuisine is always a great start. Given the restaurant's name, the various Jjamppong options are the main draw. The standard Jjamppong is a must-try for its spicy, flavorful broth and mix of seafood and vegetables. For those who can handle the heat, the Gochu Jjamppong (chili pepper Jjamppong) is often highlighted by regulars as a great option. For a richer, meatier twist on the soup, the Haemul Chadol Jjamppong, which incorporates beef brisket slices with seafood, provides a depth of flavor.
No trip to a Korean-Chinese restaurant is complete without Jjajangmyeon. This classic dish of thick noodles topped with a rich, savory black bean sauce is an iconic comfort food. The Jjam Jja Myeon is arguably the best choice for first-timers, offering a generous taste of both the spicy seafood soup and the savory black bean noodles.
Beyond the noodles, the Main Dishes are designed to be enjoyed alongside the noodle and rice entrees. The Tang Su Yuk (Sweet & Sour Pork) is a perennial favorite in this cuisine type and is excellent for sharing. For those who prefer a little kick with their main dish, the Kan Pung Gi (Fried Chicken with Spicy Garlic Pepper Sauce) is a flavorful and popular choice. Additionally, the Tang Su Yuk Fried Rice is a fantastic combo meal, pairing a staple rice dish with the popular sweet and sour pork.
In conclusion, Invincible Jjamppong in Palisades Park stands as a reliable local spot for satisfying your Korean-Chinese cravings. While every restaurant can face occasional inconsistencies, its strong points remain the generous portions and the availability of all the essential, beloved dishes of this unique culinary fusion. If you're looking for comfort food in New Jersey, particularly a bold and filling bowl of Jjamppong or a classic plate of Jjajangmyeon, this Broad Avenue eatery is a location well worth considering for your next lunch or dinner.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1깐풍기: sauce not reduced properly, resulting in making chicken mushy and tasting horrible. Look at the picture, the sauce is not thick and is figuratively a soup at this point.유산슬밥: salty is the taste. Can’t taste the oyster sauce flavor which makes it very savory.무적의짬뽕: noodle overcooked such that it has no texture. Soup tastes very plain. Not worthy of signature menu nor $15. $15 is relatively not expensive for 짬뽕, but it’s not worthy.Service is nonexistent. I would have cared less about service if food tasted good. The restaurant needs someone who knows the basics of cooking.
September 29 · Kevin KohNew owner. Just is not as good as prior. Then former owner increased the portion to sell. Have before & after pics. So, u can judge for yourself.----------------------------------The price recently increased. So, go to Hongbanjang for lunch or God of Jjambbong for now. Portion is huge though, which is good for big eaters.I prefer this place to Green Cabbage using HongBanJang, as I like the proper mix taste of Asian cabbages chai/choy. Also, had a lot more veggies included.Beyond that it's pretty much a draw in terms of soup & service, except HangBanJang had hidden roach in between napkins. Likely this place have one too but being newer less likely.Other place around is TeMinQuan, which is a lot more expensive finer dining.Although, I miss SooTaMein place, which is gone after pandemic, this place will have to do.Oh, the ultimate at $15 is nice but too much food & a bit painful to eat as per crabs, but does add additional sea food flavor.Easier Parking too.Taking a star off temp as noodle was overcooked. I really like this place & will keep a keen eye. Oh hot pepper Jjamppong is really worth extra $1, but others ... eh~ Extra meat & ultimate for me is extra bother & cost but not much else.
April 30 · SH Yoon (NYster)Food, price, and service is great. I ordered the jjambbong, shrimp fried rice, and kkambbong shrimp. The shrimp would have been better if it was crispy but the crust was soggy by the time we ate it. It was smothered in sauce so couldn't help it. Taste was still good and shrimp was cooked perfectly.Get the jjambbong. It's what they're known for. We ordered the large size and was able to share amongst 3 people. Portions are good and service is good.Location is a bit odd but felt like a hidden gem spot.
November 22 · Jane ChungBy far the best Korean Chinese restaurant in New Jersey. Great taste, plenty of portions and reasonable price. Service was quick and nice. Free self parking underground. Highly recommend.
December 06 · Young ShinTERRIBLE! it used to be super good when it was at the pine plaza (broad ave). I ordered online delivery and it came with glass noodle (당면) instead of actual noodle. Also, the taste changed from good to "okay".They only got right the 밥
