IRIS Reviews
I had the pleasure of dining at Iris recently, and it was a standout experience from start to finish. The Mediterranean influences were clear in every dish, but with a fresh, elevated twist that made the entire meal feel both comforting and refined.Dessert was a real highlight. The Pistachio Baklava Sundae was both playful and decadent—layers of crunchy pastry, spiced nuts, and creamy ice cream came together in a way that felt indulgent but not overly sweet. I also tried the Cherry Baba, which brought a nice tart contrast with its syrup-soaked cake and cherry-forward flavor.Service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance struck a great balance between elegant and inviting.
August 24 · Caroline SHad an incredible dinner at Iris. We started with the Tuna Tartare and Fried Squid, both fresh and perfectly prepared. For mains, the Maine Lobster and Branzino were standouts. Everything was flavorful, cooked beautifully, and paired perfectly with a side of crispy fries. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming. Highly recommend for a special night out or anyone looking for quality seafood and great hospitality.
July 28 · Tarak ChowdhuryThe food is good and delicious but the flavors can do more to fit the contemporary taste. The dessert is way too sweet given the current trend is to be more healthy. The fries and the half roasted chicken are wonderful. I like the subtle and light flavor of the cucumber limeade. The service is top notch though. And the minimalist vibe is very tasteful.
December 22 · Shako LiuOkay first of all our server knew EVERYTHING about the food and how it was made and explained everything so perfectly.. girl what was her name ! She had pretty glasses on and was working Valentine’s Day and beautiful black hair & shoutout to our server after that who had amazing rings on & a great vibe as well. The food did not disappoint and the ambiance was amazing. Music was at a perfect volume not loud so that you can’t talk but not too quiet so that you hear everyone else lol.I wish I had room for the Moussaka which you don’t see a lot on a menu but we went with so many good things. Thank U IRIS!
February 20 · N RThe inside of the place is great ! Also staff seem to be polite . But the food was awful. I ordered it for pickup via seamless, but even with that in mind, the food was underwhelming.I ordered a saffron yogurt chicken in a pita supposedly with red pepper feta. They forgot the red pepper feta !! The food was just 3 cubes of plain chicken breast with very little seasoning and just a slight hint of yogurt marination. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to take a picture. The other item I ordered was lamb leg chermoula with a Greek salad and tzatziki. The lamb was very limited and lacking in flavor. It can be seen in the photo, but in real life the portion was much smaller. The Greek salad was mostly tomatoes and very watery. This was definitely a very underwhelming place. The food was lacking taste , quality, and quantity. ~$18/item in this case
