## What Is Worth Choosing: The Ultimate Fast-Food Jamaican Experience
When stepping up to the counter at Jamaican Flavors, it's clear why this spot has become a local icon—the sheer variety of traditional Jamaican dishes available for fast-food speed is its biggest draw. For first-time visitors or long-time patrons, the choice always centers on the classics that have earned the restaurant its reputation.
The undisputed star of the menu, and what is most worth choosing, is the Freshly Baked Patty. The patty is more than just a snack in New York City; it is an institution, infiltrating everything from corner bodegas to pizza shops. Jamaican Flavors perfects this icon. Customers rave about the Spicy Beef Patty (priced at an attractive $3.50), noting its deep flavor and characteristic heat. The flaky, golden pastry paired with the seasoned filling offers a complete meal experience in a convenient pocket. To truly experience the perfect pairing, be sure to grab a side of Coco Bread (available for an extra $1.00, or $1.50 without a patty) to enjoy with your patty; the slightly sweet, pillow-soft bread perfectly complements the savory, spicy filling.
Another must-try is anything centered on their legendary Jerk Chicken. Whether you choose the boneless version in a Boneless Jerk Chicken Sandwich or the full-flavor main dish options like the Whole Jerk Wings, the complex spice profile and tender preparation of the chicken are a definitive highlight. The Boneless Jerk Chicken Sandwich at $5.00 represents exceptional value for a quick, filling lunch.
For a heartier, more traditional meal, patrons should explore the Chicken dishes like the rich Curry Chicken or the comforting Brown Stew Chicken, often served with a portion of classic Rice & Peas. For vegetarian options that don’t sacrifice flavor, the menu includes satisfying items such as the Chickpea and Callaloo patties, as well as a new New Pumpkin patty option.
Finally, while waiting in the line that often wraps around the counter—a clear sign that great things are cooking—make sure to look ahead to dessert. The selection of cakes, particularly the traditional Black Rum Cake and White Rum Cake, provides a sweet, moist finish that encapsulates the warmth and flavor of the Caribbean. The combination of classic Jamaican cuisine, fast-food efficiency, and unbeatable value solidifies Jamaican Flavors as a premier destination for Caribbean comfort food in Queens. Its status as a highly popular spot guarantees fresh, high-quality food, making any wait time a small investment for an authentic taste of the islands.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is a compliant but I gave all 5 stars cause I love this place from young. Bought 6 spicy beef & 2 jerk chicken Pattie’s this morning (June 5th 2025). In this photo you see plastic. I bit this piece of plastic out of my patty, I thought it might’ve been some hard lettuce but yea it’s plastic.
June 05 · LowcoolantA local favorite where there is usually a small line of people eager to order Jamaican patties. I ordered the jerk chicken patty and a spicy beef patty. The spicy beef was my favorite.
March 29 · Andrew HazelriggWhen your craving a very good beef patty spot and wit some variety - this the place to go****, been going here for quite some time , always a pleasure coming back, friendly staff , food and pricing great , vegetable patty awesome, great little mom and pop style, cheers!!!
May 28 · Pedro DiazThe vegetable patty was my favorite! I like that it’s made with whole and not minced up vegetables. Flavorful and well baked.Unfortunately part of my order was wrong & I didn’t get to try their chickpea patty. On the other hand, the BBQ chicken patty was better than I expected. My friend tried their Ackee patty and it was her first and last time trying it. The coco bread seemed uncooked, definitely couldn't eat it straight out the bag.I would come back for veggie patties and hopefully next time the chickpea patty will make it into my bag.
May 01 · Toni-Ann Henry (Toni)Super busy area! The line always a little lengthy. We tried the Calaloo, chickpea and veggies patties. The first time they were fresh and really good. The next time we visited they were subpar. Each Pattie is $3.50 right now. I will say they put a good amount of filling into the patties and a couple of them will get you full.
