Juici Patties Introduce
For those who have experienced the vibrant street food culture of Jamaica, the name Juici Patties evokes a sense of authentic, flaky, and flavor-packed goodness. When news broke that this iconic Jamaican fast-food staple was opening a location in New York City, it created a genuine buzz across the boroughs, particularly in Brooklyn. Juici Patties, situated on Fulton Street, is more than just a restaurant; it’s a cultural bridge, bringing the genuine taste of the Caribbean’s most beloved quick meal directly to the heart of a community that understands and appreciates its flavor.
The Brooklyn location at 1293 Fulton St has quickly established itself as the go-to destination for what many New Yorkers and Jamaican expats consider to be the best patties in town. Customer reviews are overwhelmingly positive, with many patrons immediately drawing comparisons to the original, highly-regarded Jamaican experience. One enthusiastic reviewer noted that the beef patties taste "just like the beef patties back in Jamaica," providing a critical stamp of authenticity that is highly valued in the competitive NYC culinary scene. For those who prioritize flavor and quality, Juici Patties is considered an essential stop.
The core of the menu revolves around the namesake product, the patty, offered with fillings that cater to various tastes and dietary needs. The available patty types are carefully curated to represent the brand's tradition while acknowledging modern demands. The selection typically includes the rich, savory Beef Patty (available in both Original Spicy and Mild), the flavorful Chicken Patty (often Curried), and a dedicated Spinach Patty for those seeking a vegetarian or vegan option. These are served hot and fresh, a commitment to quality noted by customers who marvel at receiving large orders quickly without any drop in temperature or freshness.
Beyond the patties, the establishment’s dedication to providing a full Jamaican experience is evident in its complementary offerings, most notably the Coco Bread. Described by a happy customer as "so soft it's like they made it just for you," this subtly sweet, buttery bread is the perfect accompaniment to the savory patty, whether used for a sandwich or enjoyed on its own. The combination of a hot patty tucked into soft coco bread (the Patty & Coco Bread combo) is a Caribbean classic, and at Juici Patties, it is clearly mastered. The restaurant also offers various combo deals and party packs, making it an excellent choice for solo meals, family dinners, or catering for larger gatherings.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Worth it, the best, extraordinary, these are the words I used after one bite. When I heard Juici was in NY I made it an obligation to make this trip and it was worth it. The beef patties taste just like the beef patties back in Jamaica and if you haven't been to Jamaica this is what the beef patties taste like down there. These are the best beef patties in town and if you're like me who wants the best, this is the spot. The location is very small however well run as they have a security guard outside managing the amount of people in the location so it's not overcrowded. They had a line outside but the service was exceptional that I was in line for about 2 minutes. Speaking of service, 10/10. I got the #6 and received my order within 5 minutes. When ordering such an amount of beef patties comes out within 5 minutes you think it's a rush job and the food would be cold or stale, nope not here. Fresh and hot as if it was just made and let's not talk about the coco bread. So soft it's like they made it just for you. Overall 10/10 and would definitely visit again when I'm in the area or needing a beef patty
June 08 · Kevin KingNo wait early on a rainy Sunday. Take out spot, no chairs. $4.25 plus tax for a patty. We tried 3 different types. Pretty good. Better than average. About 85% like the Juici patties from Jamaica.
September 07 · Amanda DThe staff was polite + they had a nice orderly line with security for the demand of the crowds coming in to gobble up the patties! Tastes amazing just like when I was last in Jamaica... unlike what I grew up on eating in Brooklyn from another unnamed chain restaurant😉. The real deal authentic Beef Pattie and Coco Bread has arrived folks.
May 13 · Micah HunterVisited on 05/10/25 after a 2 hour commute. I was really excited to try this spot since I’ve been to Jamaica several times and know what authentic patties should taste like. The patties themselves were quite good, and I especially enjoyed the spinach one, it was delicious. However, the overall experience was let down by the service. I ordered a dozen patties and three coco breads, but when I got home, I realized two patties were missing. After reading other reviews, it seems I’m not the only one who’s experienced this issue. This really should be addressed during pre-shift meetings. It would help if staff or managers double-checked orders before handing them out especially at such a busy takeout spot. People are waiting in line for 30 to 45 minutes or traveling long distances, only to get home and find part of their order missing. It’s frustrating and disappointing. In summary: the patties was good, the right crisps, buttery texture but the service needs improvement, particularly in order accuracy. A small fix could make a big difference.
May 11 · NissaleeAfter waiting for 20 mins in line. Drove off to realize the entire order was wrong. Received 2 spicy beef patties had no cheese in them. The mild beef was marked off only to bite into the patty to see that this was chicken. Highly disappointed- i understand mistakes happen but for the entire order to be wrong this is unacceptable. Not a good first time experience.
May 11 · Christy GinaIt was my first time ever trying Juici patties. I came a couple days after they first opened. Didn’t feel like waiting on line but the wait wasn’t bad. It took like 20+ mins for me to get in. The shop is small. No dining in just take out. I ordered 3 patties for about $14. The spicy chicken, mild beef, and spicy beef. I forgot to get the cocoa bread. As a non Jamaican this was a decent patty. It had a nice flakiness to it. I would choose this over Golden Crust. Service was pretty fast too.
