★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- Just discovered this fabulous restaurant. Wish I was a food critic so I could give this review the refinement it deserves. I don’t have the vocabulary to match the food! The soups are savory and healthy. In fact - all of the food seems healthy, savory, abundant, fresh, delicious and leaves me wanting to go back tomorrow. I will always wake up the next day to leftovers as the portions are generous. I’ve had salmon, chicken, beef, soups, all perfection. The desserts are large enough to share and perfect. Not too sweet but sweet just the right amount.Service is professional, capable, tight. They are on it. They are paying attention. Ample easy parking. Music is pleasant in the background. Not too loud. The decor is homey and feels vintage. In a funky way. Friendly vibe. It’s just great !My first experience was with a dear friend who raved about the restaurant and couldn’t believe I had never been ! She said she has been going to this restaurant for 30 years and is always pleased. this friend is very particular so if she has been going for decades - I know it’s great ! Second time I went with my husband- who is a foodie and an amazing cook himself and he LOVED it ! we practically stopped going out for dinners as he is such a good cook and dining out is expensive but we will for sure be regulars ! I have already recommended this restaurant to to a few friends and clients for date night ! The owner brought me a little taste of the ice cream the first night - not a whole portion - just a little taste (my friend wouid not stop raving about the homemade ice cream but I wanted the firni). The chocolate cake is intense. I can’t eat chocolate late at night but did have a taste of that the next day too. And of course - delish. Brought 2 entrees home for my kids and they raved about it. The left over rice with raisins and carrot became next day lunch. I can’t wait to go back with friend! October 07 · Susan Bloch Leach
- Visited the Afghan kebab restaurant in Huntington recently. The entrees were flavorful and well-seasoned, but the portion sizes left me questioning the value. I also tried the chai tea, which unfortunately tasted off—almost spoiled. The total came to $70, which felt steep for the amount of food received. Overall, while the taste was solid, I expected much more for the price.Below I shared a picture what I paid $70.00 for (the pita bread came with the two orders): June 26 · Darren Gopaul
- The service was incredibly kind and welcoming. My boyfriend and I had no idea what to get but felt welcomed and were given great recommendations. The kebab and sauces were our favorite but everything was generally very good. It is somewhat pricey, but the portion size and quality of the food make it worth it. Very nice small family owned business and definitely worth coming back for. July 05 · Elena T.
- I have eaten in the restaurant a few times and ordered delivery many times. We are never disappointed! This is my daughter’s favorite restaurant. Their Kofta Chalaw, Aushak, Marsala Murgh, Gulpi Chalaw and Vegetable Sambosa’s are delicious! If she had her way, we would eat there every meal. July 19 · M B
- The food and hospitality was absolutely wonderful. The food was flavorful, we ordered the Chicken Kabob Platter which was cooked to perfection. Waleed, the manager, was very nice and helpful with great recommendations. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for authentic delicious afghan food! August 16 · Bilal Arif_07
