★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Walked in here on a Sunday afternoon for dinner and was seated right away. The sushi was overall pretty good. We got the sushi special and sashimi special. It is kind of on the pricey side but overall the price isn't too bad given the quality of fish. One thing that takes away one star from atmosphere is that it was quite warm inside the restaurant and the temperature outside was 90s at the time.
July 28 · Eric TanSelection, atmosphere and overall standard of service. The execution was excellent, specially in timing the presentation of the order of sashimi and sushi as well as cooked dishes. The Gen Zers amongst us were impressed too. Well done. Will be back.
September 06 · Lina KhooExcellent quality sashimi and great selection of appetisers! Black cod was so delicious and perfectly cooked as the fish just flakes 😋. Corn tempora was crunchy and sweet.
July 25 · Lady GwenKanoyama is an absolute gem in NYC! The sushi is incredibly fresh, expertly prepared, and bursting with flavor. The omakase experience was top-notch, with each piece of sushi carefully crafted and presented beautifully. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, making it a perfect spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. If you’re a sushi lover, this place is a must-visit! Can’t wait to come back again.
February 27 · Jessica Huangi checked tht this was a michelin restaurant so i wanted to see if it was worth the hype, and honestly, I THINK IT IS!! the sushi is FRESH and delicious. i honestly wanna come back for their omakase cus we chose regular dining.good service & vibes. love the songs tht yall played, would come back when i visit🤞🏻 worth the moneypsa: i did order a lot so it came down to $100/pax
April 12 · Claudia GabrielleWe had the omakase at Kanoyama. It was a delicious meal with great attention to detail from chef and staff. Lovely presentation for the dishes before the nigris. I don’t take picture of the nigris because they hand them directly to you and do not put it on the plate. They were seasoned beautifully. One of the best taking omakase I’ve had in a while
