What is Worth Choosing at King David Tacos
For New Yorkers accustomed to a fast pace and high expectations for flavor, King David Tacos is worth choosing because it delivers a specialized, high-quality product—the Austin-style breakfast taco—with impressive speed and convenience. The value here is found in the perfect on-the-go meal that doesn't compromise on taste or authenticity.
First, you must choose a breakfast taco. While all are highly regarded, the ‘Mom’s Migas’ is often the gold standard for a true taste of Texas breakfast, featuring scrambled eggs, tortilla chips, cheese, and salsa. For those seeking a delicious meatless option, the ‘Queen Bean’ or the ‘Pec’ (Potato, Egg, Cheese) are excellent, highly praised choices that are satisfying and comforting. Customers note that even one taco can be quite filling, making it a great value for $4.50.
Second, pair your taco with a specialty drink. Skip the standard coffee and opt for the Oatly Horchata Cold Brew or the Mexican Mocha. These are unique, well-crafted beverages that enhance the whole Southwestern-inspired experience. The combination of the hearty taco and the sweet, spiced coffee is a perfect start or reboot to any day.
Finally, for those visiting after 11 a.m., sampling a 'Lunch-Ish' item like the Cowboy or the Pollo Verde offers a heartier flavor profile. And, as the business itself suggests, the 'Extras' are "Worth it"—a side of Queso & Chips or a Queso Shooter adds a layer of authentic indulgence that completes the experience. Choosing King David Tacos is a decision to embrace a delightful, comforting, and fast food tradition that has happily made its home on the streets of Brooklyn.

May 09 · Patricia HolnessNot impressed with this mass-produced tasting taco @ $6.00 (including tax). And it would have been better to put on the board that you are out of salsa — I was told as I was transacting & the food was being put into my hand. I might have opted to for different long line had I known.
September 21 · Tom DI thought they were good, not mind blowing but solid. I liked the soft tortilla and egg texture and the red salsa. The queen bean might have been my favorite, followed by the BPEC (pictured below).
June 19 · OThe pictures speak for themselves. The tacos are tasty, but the packaging is absolutely terrible. For small tacos, to have to scrap foil for all the filling is just a joke.
March 02 · Anjali ReaAs a native south Texan, I approve of these breakfast tacos. I don't know how I could live in Brooklyn without King David.
