★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I went here to celebrate my birthday and we were able to book a table for 10 people with a prix fixe menu by reaching out via email. The atmosphere was perfect and we had a large table upstairs that they had set with candles, and it felt very intimate and cozy - like a dinner party! The food and wine was really good - the bread was fresh and delicious and so were all of our entrees and small plates. Our servers were very attentive and friendly, helped us pick our wines, and gave some great recommendations for bars in the area as well as we were leaving after the meal.Overall, we had a great time, and my friends all agreed it was one of the most memorable dinners we've had in nyc! Can't recommend enough!
April 17 · Sydney MacauleyI don’t remember the names of the people that took care of us but we went on Thurs night 7/3. They were attentive to our needs and I’ve never been to a restaurant that actually reads the Resy special occasion information and sent us home with 2 delicious chocolate chip tahini cookies for my partner’s birthday. I was sad to hear they didn’t have their delicious cultured butter but the food was delicious, especially the porkchop and warm cherry and almond pie with vanilla ice cream. Thanks for the great date night/birthday celebration vibes!
July 10 · LanaOverall, we had a great dinner here but sadly, too expensive to become our weekly spot (we live down the street). Wine was $17/glass minimum so if we come back we'll have apertifs at home before heading over. Wish they had a house wine or neighborhood discount.
September 08 · DavidOn the menu when I dined at L'Apero was a tomato galette -- a dish that presents like a rustic, cheese-less pizza, but is much more: a succulent bed of dough covered in a lightly-seasoned jigsaw puzzle bed of perfect late-summer heirloom tomatoes. In its simplicity, it was one of the best bites I had all summer. The branzino en papillote was also delight, the meat almost melt-in-your mouth tender, as was the cheese from the "snacks" section, three distinctively delicious selections.I was glad I saved room for dessert, although doing so was a challenge in an establishment famed for their bread.
August 25 · Christian HollandFood was good and the flavours were there, but it was nothing to write home about. The portions are also so so so tiny, and definitely not worth the steep price point.
