Choosing a dish at La Chacra can be a delightful dilemma, given the rich and varied options available. However, a few items stand out as essential choices for first-time visitors and longtime regulars alike, offering the most quintessential La Chacra and Peruvian dining experience.
The Rotisserie Chicken (Pollo a la Brasa) is arguably the star of the show. Slow-roasted to perfection, the chicken is consistently described as juicy and tender, infused with a deep, savory marinade. It is highly recommended to order a whole or half chicken with one of the Combo options, such as the Combo Clasico ($43.00), which includes the whole chicken, salad, and fries, making it an excellent value for sharing.
Another non-negotiable choice is the Lomo Saltado ($30.00). This classic Peruvian stir-fry featuring strips of tender skirt steak, onions, and tomatoes in a savory soy-based sauce, served over a bed of French fries and white rice, receives high praise. One diner specifically noted the skirt steak as "SOOO good," cooked perfectly, which speaks volumes about the quality of the beef preparation here.
For seafood lovers, exploring the Cevicheria section is a must. The Ceviche de Pescado ($24.00)—fresh raw fish marinated in vibrant lime juice with onions and Peruvian corn—offers a bright, zesty starter that is both refreshing and authentic. Alternatively, the Jalea Mixta Personal ($34.00), a deep-fried mixed seafood platter served with yucca and a lime sauce, is a fantastic choice for those who prefer their seafood crispy. The Arroz con Mariscos ($34.00), a Peruvian-style paella with mixed seafood, also represents a rich, flavorful main course.
No meal is complete without indulging in the famous Green Sauce, a creamy, mildly spicy accompaniment that is so popular it's sold by the container (8oz for $6.00). It’s the perfect complement to the Rotisserie Chicken and Lomo Saltado. Finally, for a sweet finish, the Peruvian dessert offerings are unique and worth exploring. Try the Helado de Lucuma ($10.00), an ice cream made from the Peruvian lucuma fruit, or the classic, rich Tres Leches ($10.00). These choices encapsulate the true spirit and rich flavors of La Chacra, ensuring you leave with a full stomach and a true appreciation for Peruvian culinary tradition.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1A cute little gem, looks like unassuming and gives kind of of hole in the wall vibes, but it was nothing short of spectacular!! Went with a bunch of friends so we were able to try a variety of options. I am a steak person and the skirt steak to me was SOOO good. It was perfectly cooked for me (I'm a medium rare girl) and it was PERFECT!! Everything was seasoned well and the green sauce. The green sauce needs its own review. I would get the skirt steak and the octopus dish again. The ceviche was also good and the meal sticks were also cooked to perfection in my opinion. Super tender 👌 😍 ❤️
July 23 · jen kFood is great, but you have got to work on that customer service. Stood there at your "please wait to be seated" front door, only experience a silent treatment and no recognition. No hello. No welcome. No acknowledgment at all. I waited there for like 10 minutes just and letting me stand there. The waiters at the back seem free too, just watching me wait no acknowledgment. Bartender just stood there watching me. I get it. Maybe it's because I ordered pickup, but really, are you going to just like pretend I don't exist for like a 10 whole minutes and just ignore me.
September 09 · Gilbert WuCame here twice and I like their drinks and ambience but the chicken is a bit dry. Hard to find parking but not a bad service. I like their tostones and green sauce, lomo saltado has flavor but missing a piece of something.Loved the chicken empanadas w chicken. Cool bathroom.
August 18 · Amanda WangDelicious Peruvian food! This is my first time trying Peruvian food and it was really great. We got the whole chicken combo which comes with a whole chicken, fries & sausage, maduros (friend plantains), rice & beans, and a salad. We also ordered the leche de Tigre (ceviche) and the fried calamari. We shared this food between 5 people and we still ended up with leftovers. The portion sizes here are big and the flavors are amazing. The ambiance here was nice as well and would be a great spot to catch up with friends or even for date night. Will definitely come back here again!
June 24 · Wisely ChangThe only think I really enjoyed was the fried corn and the salad !Plates have a great presentation but don’t taste how it looks!
