★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Food was DISGUSTING! I never had such bad Spanish food and I’m Puerto Rican. I was told the “Pernil” was fresh out the oven and what I got was pieces of fat with 2 small chunks of dry meat. Rice was mushy and bland. There was a taste of something was burned! I’m still SMH how bad this food was!
February 23 · Ivonne RosaMy wife and I Love this Place. Estas buscando buena comida tipico? Look no further. This is the Best Spanish Restaurant I know. I highly recommend visiting La Lechonera Criolla.
September 08 · Miguel GarciaI ordered through grubhub from this business for the first time. The food was in general is delicious. I ordered a baked chicken lunch rice and beans included, a separate order of potato salad, and an order of fried Yucca. When I opened up the order there is a lunch plate with chicken and yucca only. Also there is an order of potato salad. But now I'm looking for the rice and beans. Where is it? It was never added to the order. I got upset and called grubhub customer service and a refund was applied to the missing rice and beans. I was good with that but I was very dissatisfied because in my mind I was set to eat the combo that I ordered and I was left wanting more. In Spanish terms: " me quede con las ganas!" I will definitely never order from that restaurant located at Edward L. Grant in the Bronx called "La Lechonera Criolla P.R." Pa' lo sepan!
August 03 · Wilfredo RodriguezI’m a big fan of Lechon... This was the absolute best. … The chicharron was crunchy… The meat melted in the mouth—no knife needed.
September 08 · RobertRequested two lunch specials via uber eatsChicken plate had two tiny dry ass white meat pieces, second plate was pork chop with tostones. The pork chop had some dried onions on top for presentation. The mojito for the tostones sent on the side tasted spoiled ! While the plates were lunch specials, there should still be some pride in having fresh, presentable, and eatable food. So disappointed as a Puerto Rican Woman who cooks from the heart. Sad sad super disappointed experience 🧐
