Food was pretty good, the staff were nice and the booths are well spaced. For me, I had the curry and I thought the flavor was good, but the size of the meat and shrimp could be a little smaller. The Singapore rice noodle is, according to my mom “the best deal in Fairfield county”. We also had the spring rolls, I forgot to get a picture but they were pretty solid and standard. Overall, 3.75/5 🫡

Here's the thing. I've been going to LC Chen's forever! I hate having to give them a 3 star rating, because their food is definitely 5 star!!! I personally LOVE their food. However, there definitely are some issues with cleanliness. Case in point, the last time I was there for take-out, I noticed when I got home to eat that there was a streak of blood on the top of my fried rice container. Literally, blood! Now, Chef's get cut when they work, it's a given. But you need to pay attention to that!!! Blood can carry diseases.Since that happened I haven't been back, and I won't ever go back because I personally thought that was disgusting. Which saddens me because I truly LOVE their food!!! Plus, they are lovely people. But again, however, they do have a cleanliness issue in the kitchen. The health department shut them down for a day because of mice droppings they found on the counters. I mean, come on. Cleanliness is important! I love you guys, but you HAVE to put more of a focus on cleanliness.
