## What is Worth Choosing
When deciding on a Mexican restaurant on the Upper West Side, Limesalt is a solid choice for several reasons. The primary draw is the build-your-own concept. This interactive and highly personal approach to ordering means you get exactly what you want, every time. You can choose your base—be it a bowl, burrito, quesadilla, salad, or tacos—and then fill it with your favorite ingredients. This is a significant advantage over a fixed menu, as it allows for endless combinations and ensures that you can accommodate any dietary preferences or cravings you might have. For instance, you can easily create a vegetarian or a low-carb meal with the same ease as a classic comfort food feast. The availability of diverse toppings and fillings, from different proteins to various salsas, is what makes the experience truly rewarding.
Beyond the customizable mains, the side dishes at Limesalt are also a highlight and well worth choosing. A simple order of Tortilla Chips can be elevated by pairing it with fresh Pico de Gallo or flavorful Guacamole. The creamy Queso is a popular choice for a reason, providing a rich and savory dip that complements the main dishes perfectly. These sides are great for sharing and add another layer to your meal, turning a quick bite into a more complete and satisfying dining experience. The simple focus on these classics demonstrates a commitment to doing a few things very well.
Finally, Limesalt is worth choosing for its sheer convenience and efficiency. Known for its fast service, it is a perfect option for a quick lunch break or a no-fuss dinner. This is especially appealing for those who don’t have time for a full sit-down meal but still want something fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, making it a great spot for a variety of occasions. Its popularity among locals speaks volumes about its reliability and the consistent quality of its food. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The portion size you get is not equivalent to the price you pay. I was honestly bewildered by this considering when you order through the wonder app, plus tip and fees, it is around 28$. The bowl itself is 16$. I'll let everyone decide for me. Does this look like this is worth the price? I'm probably never going to order food from this restaurant ever again; might as well go to Chipotle honestly.
April 06 · Jay T. RI had a good experience with this delivery (first time I tried them). Ordered a build salad and a bowl, both with spicy tofu and all the fixins. The portions seemed normal to me, despite what others have reported. Yum!
May 03 · AlisonWhen I ordered the ranchero bowl I was definitely not expecting the guacamole to be the most flavorful part of the bowl. The portion is way too small for the price you pay. The pico de gallo was cilantro, onion and tomato, I only know that from what I saw because it tasted like nothing. The corn salsa added a sweetness but unfortunately it wasn't enough to save this waste of money. I added the steak to my bowl and it was overcooked and flavorless. I'd recommend saving your money and going somewhere else.
March 15 · Evieordered delivery - build your own bowl and chips & guac. not even half a bowl and they forgot the guac. then refused to give me a refund. first time trying this place, definitely the last.
November 24 · Elizabeth VastanoVery cheap ingredients, no flavor at all. The queso tastes like melted American cheese or a cup of velveeta, it leaves a nasty film in your mouth.
August 30 · Christopher Elliott
