★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I stumbled upon The North Fork on my way to see a stage play @ the Lucille Lortel Theatre across the street.I arrived @ 6pm, and took a seat at the bar. There is a daily happy hour menu and I opted for an Old Fashion. The impressionable bartender said he was able to make a very good Old Fashion. He did his best, it was too sweet but he graciously topped off my glass to help remedy the sweetness. It was a steamy day and I did not have much time or much of an appetite. I decided to try the Cantaloupe Endive Salad (w/o goat cheese). The salad was lite and refreshing with an interesting flavor profile. The North Fork was a nice little reprieve for a cocktail while you escape the summer heat. They offer a full menu with some interesting options that might be worth trying if you are not press for time, like I was. I honestly had my eye on the octopus.Just A Note:Happy Hour is offered everyday, including weekends, with $1.50 Oysters.
July 28 · S. RIBEIROThe food was good. The bottomless cocktails for lunch is a great deal because you can mix and match. Our waitress was having a bad day but other staff jumped in to help and ensure we had a good experience. Indoor seating was loud and lively.
May 19 · Lisa NielsenCute restaurant, friendly service and decent food. We got a bunch of apps, like oysters, hummus, and burrata! My entree was the short rib - perfectly cooked. Tender! Everything was tasty Except that Black Forest cake. It was so dry!
May 21 · Geeky ChickWe had a huge birthday party event with about 25 guests. The wait staff was very polite and definitely overwhelmed with the party of our size. We appreciated them very much!! The inside is fairly small/cramped but it's quaint. Several small dining tables with a bar in the middle. The entrees that we prepaid for $27 came with a drink but some of us opted for the $30 bottomless option as well. Their bottomless drinks were veryyy strong. I also liked that they gave us pitchers so we could help ourselves. The duck benedict was superb!! It felt like a generous helping of duck and the poached eggs were done wonderfully with the hollandaise with lots of flavor. The skillet was very chickpea heavy and wished there were more bites of the chorizo. The sour dough was a nice touch as well.
April 15 · Steph WReally cute spot in West Village opposite Lucille Lortel Theatre. We initially went in for a little drink and a break from walking, but ended up getting a huge amount of food.Delicious oysters and nibbles. They made me a custom mocktail, and my 11 y/o loved it so much they gave him one on the house 😊We ended up staying for some appetisers too, which were delicious. Service was great, and restaurant was so nice for just relaxing.
