★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had the most AMAZING time here! Pretty quiet on a weekday afternoon, as I hear it can get busy on weekends since the opening. The baristas and shop employees were all SO sweet and friendly! I browsed the extensive selection of stationery for a long time and picked up some cute items, then got a fantastic matcha latte and delicious black sesame pound cake while enjoying the serenity of the cafe up front. I will definitely be coming back!!!
July 17 · Alyssa CWelcoming, cozy, cute, airy, relaxing….Loaf on Paper is such a lovely concept and space. A friend and I enjoyed miso buttermilk biscuits with tea in the cafe area then perused the stationery shop in the back. I’ve been a fan of niconeco zakkaya for a while now so as expected, the selection of stickers, pens, paper goods, and gift items was excellent.
August 17 · Astrid CGI could spend hours here. The cafe in front is sunny and airy, with a pretty big menu. The stationary part of the store is spacious and well laid-out. Like the niconeco location, there’s lots of nooks and crannies with different varieties of stationary to explore. The goods are beautifully curated. Lots of Japanese and cat-themed products, with a variety of price points. The prices are also closer to market value in Japan compared to the markups many similar stationary stores charge.A 10/10 experience! One small suggestion would be to mark the sticker sheets with clearer pricing-I only saw a general ‘stickers $3-5’ sign.
July 04 · Claire CamachoThis will be my new go to spot on my days off! As someone who has visited the original location in East Village, this space is much more spacious and allows visitors to not only peruse all the stationary goods but also have a place to work/journal/catch up with friends. You can really tell how much thought went into curating this space.I ordered the Hojicha Sesame Latte and thought it was not too sweet which was to my preference although there is honey and simple syrup offered if needed. Service was great for both the cafe and the shop! Can’t wait to return again!
July 03 · Maria LeeLoaf on Paper is filled with so many treasures! I love all of the beautiful items for sale and the clear care that went into the store. The women who helped me pick out the perfect journal today were also very kind and invested in my search. I will 100% return every time I find myself in the neighborhood.
