OddFellows Ice Cream Co. Domino Park Introduce
Nestled in one of Brooklyn's most picturesque locations, OddFellows Ice Cream Co. at Domino Park is more than just a place to get a scoop; it's an essential part of the Williamsburg waterfront experience. Situated at 40 River Street, right at the edge of the vibrant Domino Park, this shop offers a truly unique setting to enjoy some of the city's most innovative ice cream. The "Location! Location! Location!" as one customer perfectly put it, is a huge part of its appeal. With its proximity to the beautiful park, the East River, and iconic landmarks like the Williamsburg Bridge, OddFellows provides a backdrop that enhances the simple pleasure of an ice cream cone. The shop's casual and trendy atmosphere is perfectly suited to the neighborhood's creative spirit, making it a beloved spot for families, friends, and solo diners looking for a delicious and memorable treat.
OddFellows Ice Cream Co. is known for its inventive and ever-changing menu. Since opening its first location in Brooklyn in 2013, the company has made a name for itself by creating over 600 unique ice cream flavors. This commitment to culinary experimentation is led by acclaimed pastry chef Sam Mason, a James Beard Award nominee and Rising Star Chef. His creative genius is evident in the constantly rotating selection of specialty flavors, which can range from a sophisticated "Passionfruit Apricot Pistachio" to an unusual "Miso Cherry" or "Black Sesame Cookies & Cream." This dedication to innovation ensures that there is always something new and exciting to try, encouraging repeat visits from curious foodies. But while they are known for their "wacky and weird" creations, they also master the classics, offering staples like "Vanilla Bean," "Chocolate Chunk," and "Cookies & Cream" with their own perfected twist.
Another key highlight of OddFellows is its commitment to inclusivity and catering to various dietary needs. The menu includes a robust selection of vegan ice creams and sorbets, which are just as delicious and satisfying as their dairy counterparts. This thoughtful inclusion of options like "Vegan Coconut Pandan" and "Vegan Coconut Mango Sticky Rice" ensures that everyone can enjoy a treat, regardless of their diet. This is a crucial factor for many New Yorkers and speaks to the shop's welcoming and community-oriented approach. Beyond the flavors, the shop itself is a pleasant space to visit. With its "spacious" interior and "high ceilings," it provides a comfortable and open feel, while the "adorable" outdoor seating offers perfect views of Domino Park. This combination of creative flavors, quality ingredients, and a welcoming environment is what truly sets OddFellows apart as a premier ice cream destination in Brooklyn.
OddFellows Ice Cream Co. is ideally situated at 40 River Street, in the heart of Williamsburg's Domino Park. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Location! Location! Location! Perfect spot for an ice cream shoppe. Nestled between a brewery and Roberta’s Pizza and across from the heart of Domino Park. The shoppe is spacious with high ceilings to help dispel any suffocating pandemic feelings. The outdoor seating is adorable with perfect views of Domino Park. Located on a section of River St with very little car traffic. The flavors are unique and well made and the prices are about average for the area. Some swag available and a freezer of popular flavors available for grab and go.
August 18 · KGQ NYCI’ve been here a couple times. New flavors from the last time i was in. The passion fruit, apricot and pistachio was iconic. The strawberry roses forever was my kids favorite
November 25 · Shalimar RuizSolid ice cream joint right across the street from Domino Park with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Quirky, but fun vibe with decent variety of unique flavors. We got Brooklyn Blackout (chocolate on chocolate on chocolate), Strawberry (honestly a really good strawberry scoop), and Passionfruit.
July 09 · Alex BrownI walked by on my way to Domino Park and it immediately caught my attention. They have scoops, an ice cream flight (6 scoops for $11), pints, etc.I got the flight (yes to myself) and I had grasshopper (9/10), chocotorta (7/10), bubblegum pop (10/10), something passion fruit (7/10), journey to outer spice (7/10), and I can't remember the others. The people working there were helpful and patient, plus photogenic lolMost of the flavors I got were vegan and you would never be able to tell the difference! Much less bloated than usual bc of that even after 6 scoops lol
July 22 · Ariana LavelliFirst of all great customer service especially by lovely and sweet tall blonde girl, I loved ice creams here, they have big choice of unusual flavors, great atmosphere and music inside!
