★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1If you're craving a lobster roll, go to Luke's! Stopped in for dinner last night. The interior reminded me of a dockside restaurant. The ordering process is much like a traditional barbecue place: Diners order at the register, and the food is brought out to the tables. The lobster rolls seem a bit pricey but are really delicious! Next time, I'll try the flight. The only pet peeve of mine is that the lobster bisque wasn't as hot as I like soup, but this frequently happens at other restaurants.I'd consider coming back, but because of the price, I wouldn't make a habit of dining here. It's definitely worth a try!
June 24 · Anil SinghCame here for a quick lunch after visiting the United Nations not far away down the street🇺🇳 The lobster rolls combo was delicious and we enjoyed all three flavors. The bread outside was butter-coated and toasted nicely, and each loaded with a good amount of juicy and bouncy lobster meats.
December 24 · Barilly LiPolite guy behind the register but Rude lady behind the kitchen, when I ordered I paid for and specifically asked if the combo came with a drink and if it’s any drink and the guy at the register said yes then when I walked to the cooler and was looking at the options the lady yells at me that I’m on my allowed to have a water when the receipt clearly says soft drink , she would not allow me to have the drink I paid for and was pretty rude as well, the guy at the registered seemed confused and apologized but the woman was rude also I want a refund for my drink!!! Still here the lady just yelled at me again and is currently yelling at a grub hub delivery guy picking up an order she’s extremely rude, ok got the food finally the chowder is full of sand disgusting every bite is crunchy with sand, total disappointment coming here zero stars
July 10 · Mbb BCan’t offer enough praise for Luke’s Lobster, and the only negative is that I wish I could afford it more (Yes, it's pricey, but well worth it). However, even as an occasional treat I’ve had only positive experiences over the past 10+ years since I wandered into the damndest shack I've ever seen down below Wall St. If I've ever had a better lobster roll, (the best of the main offerings, for me), it was probably in Maine. The bisque is unique, and quite different from even top flight versions devoid of corn starch, but I rate it just as highlyThe Midtown East location stands out. Being disabled, it’s always a great kindness when service goes above and beyond. A manager named Danielle has been especially kind, but I must offer the highest praise to James, who never fails to provide consistent, 1st Class service, and is also one of the friendliest & most professional food service people I've ever been fortunate enough to deal with. Again, only wish my budget allowed more trips here, but Luke’s has never disappointed.
September 10 · Bette SperoThe seafood is FRESH! I ordered the seafood roll flight. Each one was on a warm roll. The seafood was not warm but also not ice cold. There was a peppery seasoning sprinkled on each roll that I did not expect. The seasoning did not add, nor did it take away from the taste. I suggest not getting the seasoning without asking what it is. I also ordered the clam chowder. It did not taste as if it was cooked in-house, however, it was pretty good. Ask for it to be HOT, as mine was not as hot as I prefer. I ate inside the restaurant, which was very clean and spacious. It was a good meal, the seafood was definitely fresh, I'm glad it was not overly seasoned, nor was it salty. I'm definitely going back before I leave this short trip in NY.I have not been compensated in any way for this review
