★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Anjappar Indian Cuisine delivers an unforgettable dining experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm hospitality and inviting ambiance set the tone for a perfect evening. The food was nothing short of exceptional—authentic Chettinad flavors that were rich, aromatic, and cooked to perfection. Every dish, from the spicy mutton chukka to the veg biriyani was a flavor explosion. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. It’s clear they take great pride in the quality of their food and service. Highly recommend Anjappar to anyone craving a true taste of South India—this place is a gem!
April 30 · Chandrasekaran SundaresanI had a wonderful experience here! The Samba Chicken Biryani was absolutely delicious, so flavorful and perfectly cooked. It’s definitely a dish I’d come back for. The service was also excellent, our waiter gave great suggestions that really elevated the meal. Highly recommend this place!
August 28 · Drishya SudarsananThe food was so good! I️ came with my brother in law who is South Indian and he approved. I️ would recommend the non-veg leaf platter. I️ was too hungry at that point so there are no pics 😆. It’s supposedly for 1 person, but we got 2 of them and some extra dishes for 5 people and it was more than enough. I️ think you could share the leaf platter for 2. Would gladly come again. The atmosphere was upbeat. Unfortunately we were under the speakers so it was little loud.
April 10 · Stephanie⭐ Ghee Masala Dosa – ReviewOne of the best dosas I’ve ever had in NYC! The Ghee Masala Dosa was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right amount of ghee to make it rich but not greasy. The potato filling was flavorful, warm, and comforting, and the accompanying chutneys and sambar were fresh and well-balanced. Portion size is generous — a must-try for dosa lovers!⭐ Mutton Sukka Varuval – ReviewAbsolutely loved the Mutton Sukka Varuval. The lamb was tender, well-marinated, and packed with bold Chettinad spices that hit all the right notes. Dry-style but juicy, with a beautiful balance of heat and depth. Pairs perfectly with parotta or just on its own as a starter. Highly recommend if you enjoy authentic South Indian flavors!
