While the entire menu is a journey through Thai cuisine, two items stand out as must-tries for any first-time visitor or regular New Yorker looking for true Thai flavor: the Tom Yum Soup and the Ma Kin Butterfly Blue Tea.
The Tom Yum Soup ($14.95) is a brilliant representation of the restaurant’s commitment to authenticity. Described by diners as "delicious" with a "perfect tartness and spice," this classic lemongrass broth is the ideal opener. The soup's fragrant steam and vibrant, complex flavor profile—featuring the subtle heat of chili and the bright tang of lime—provide a comforting and invigorating start to the meal, especially on a chilly New York day. It’s an authentic culinary hug that speaks to the quality of the chef’s execution.
The second, and most unique, choice is the Ma Kin Butterfly Blue Tea ($4.95). Beyond its beautiful, striking blue color, this Thai iced tea is a refreshing and intriguing drink that leaves a memorable impression. The combination of its sweetness and the distinct, subtle aftertaste noted by a customer, makes it a house special that you simply won't find on every corner. Pairing this cool, sweet beverage with the spicy, aromatic mains, such as the Red Curry or Spicy Basil dish, creates a perfectly balanced meal that highlights the restaurant's creativity and attention to traditional Thai flavors.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This place is very intimate, not to mention that the Thai food is amazing and delicious! I tried their pineapple fried rice with chicken. I highly recommend it. It does contain cashews, for those allergic to peanuts. The staff was also very attentive and polite. Go and check this place out. You will not regret it!
September 12 · Rafael RamosI was in the neighborhood and decided to have a late lunch with my sister. This is a nice little restaurant that definitely gave the feeling of a “home” vibe.I loved that the owner had their story attached to the menu which kind of gave a little of the thoughtfulness that went into the menu items. We ordered Tom yum soup which came with 3 shrimp and I must say it was delicious. Perfect tartness and spice.I had the red curry with chicken and my sister had the Thai fried rice with chicken. Both were a decent size portion, might I say even shareable. Both dishes were flavorful. My favorite item was the butterfly blue iced tea. Sweet, refreshing with a strong after taste of tree bark. Try it, I promise you will enjoy it as much as I did.My sister and I were both surprised at the total bill because we got take home orders and it still was such a great price overall. Very budget friendly restaurant. I would recommend this restaurant for authentic Thai food and will definitely be visiting again to try other menu options.
October 14 · Nafeesa MotiI went here because they had good reviews on Google. And I wasn't disappointed. The place is tiny, but clean. They have a few tables. I ordered curry puff - I've never tried it. They are very tasty, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Nice combination with a sweet sauce. .I also took a large tom kha soup and it was very large. It's good that Thai food is light. The service is very nice and the prices are reasonable. I recommend it
February 15 · tomasz jReally love the changes new ownership has made. All of the food I have ordered has been great. Very nice people over the phone and a great option for food in the neighborhood. I’ve heard the dine in experience has improved immensely from others and have to try it myself one day. (More room to sit inside and great service). Most definitely recommend. (Particularly the eggplant and Pad sea yew.)Update: also had dine in now, and food was amazing and service was great!
February 02 · Ghooul PowersCame here for a quick lunch and it did not disappoint. Ordered thai fried rice and i left the place satisfied. Not oily and they used fresh ingredients. Will be back when im in the neighborhood again.
