This isn't your average corner café; it's a specialty coffee experience that offers a rich journey of flavors and traditions, all under one roof. The name itself, a blend of "Mokha," the ancient Yemeni coffee trading port, and the well-known "Mocha," hints at its roots and global influences. MOKAFÉ has cultivated a reputation as a spacious and comfortable sanctuary, a rare find in a bustling neighborhood like Brooklyn. Its well-designed interior, with ample seating and a casual atmosphere, makes it the perfect place to get some work done, catch up with a friend, or simply enjoy a quiet moment with a book. What truly sets MOKAFÉ apart is its dedication to a diverse and globally-inspired menu. For those seeking something new and exciting, the menu is filled with inventive lattes like the "Pistachio Latte," "Ube Latte," and "French Toast Latte." But the experience doesn't end with coffee. MOKAFÉ has become famous for its "Knafa" creations, a traditional Middle Eastern pastry that they've ingeniously infused into desserts like the "Knafa Pistachio Chocolate" and "Knafa Croissant." Their commitment to these unique and flavorful items, including a variety of "Iced Matchas" and fresh "Refreshers," has created a menu that’s constantly praised by customers. With a reputation for great coffee and an exceptional tea selection, MOKAFÉ offers a high-quality product that is both comforting and adventurous.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Incredible space to have in the neighborhood. It’s a little pricey (so… normal) but the employees are really nice and it feels like you’re stepping outside of Brooklyn into a suburb with spacious coffee shops for a second. There is so much seating and it is a great spot for a quick work session or catching up with a friend. The interior is well planned and designed and the bathrooms are nice. All the drinks and food I’ve tried is great, the Dubai pistachio chocolate is AMAZING. Yes it is like $9.88 but it’s still really really really good. After 20% tip, I spent $24.16 for one lavender iced oat latte and a chocolate… so next time I’ll have to chill and get a cheap coffee. For one person that’s a little bonkers.
March 19 · Wall FishFriendly and spacious cafe that's good for larger groups or to work at. They have Wi-Fi, outlets and many tables. The flat white was strong but the coffee had more of a one dimensional flavor profile. The service was exceptional.
May 16 · EllenMassive selection of drinks & treats to choose from. The cardamom latte was absolutely delicious, as was the oreo cream cookie, neither of which were overly sweet.Gorgeous interior design with plenty of seating. Highly recommend!
May 27 · KatGreat experience my first two times at MOKAFÉ! I love that they do not allow working on laptops anywhere in the space. So if you’re looking for a place to work - go somewhere else. We got a couple cakes and chamomile tea - everything was excellent.
March 05 · StephenI really love this coffee shop. I started coming here once I began working remotely, and it’s become one of my favorite spots. The team is amazing — always friendly and willing to go above and beyond. Danna even warmed up some milk for my coffee one day, which was such a thoughtful touch! The internet is reliable, and the bathrooms are exceptionally clean — major points for that. While there aren’t a lot of outlets, I haven’t had any issues. I usually charge my devices overnight, and there’s typically one available around midday if I need it.The music can get a bit repetitive depending on who’s working, but I enjoy the variety when it shifts from Arabic to Latin music — especially when Fred again.. Perfect playlist! The coffee + croissant combo is a great idea, too. Overall, it’s a 10/10 spot for working, relaxing, or catching up with friends. Great job, Mokafe team❤️P.S: love their green mugs
