Macaron Café Introduce
In the midst of New York City’s bustling streets and towering buildings, finding a little slice of Paris can feel like a luxurious escape. Macaron Café on Madison Avenue offers exactly that. This charming cafe and bakery brings the elegance of French patisserie to the heart of Midtown, specializing in the delicate and colorful confection that gives the cafe its name. While it may be known for its signature macarons, Macaron Café is also a full-service bakery and coffee shop, providing a wide array of authentic French pastries and expertly crafted coffee to fuel a busy New Yorker's day.
The cafe's main draw is undoubtedly its macarons. These small, exquisite, meringue-based treats are a work of art, with a crisp outer shell and a soft, chewy interior. A customer review praises them as "some of the best macarons I’ve ever had," which speaks volumes about the quality and craftsmanship. While the macarons may be "a bit pricey," the sentiment is that the quality is worth the cost. The cafe offers a variety of gift boxes, from a six-macaron box to a larger 24-piece one, making them a perfect, elegant gift for any occasion.
Beyond the macarons, the cafe offers a menu that caters to various tastes and times of the day. For breakfast, you can indulge in classic French pastries like the Plain Croissant or the rich Pain Au Chocolat. For a more substantial morning meal, options like Bacon & Eggs On Croissant or Yogourt, Granola, Fruits are available. The menu also features a selection of hot and cold beverages. Their coffee menu is quite extensive, with everything from a classic Espresso and Americano to more modern options like Cold Brew and a Mocha. The tea selection features high-quality "Mariage frères" teas, offering a refined option for tea lovers.
While the cafe is highly regarded for its food, some customers have noted issues with the service. However, for many, the quality of the products outweighs any minor inconvenience. The cafe's atmosphere is designed to be a quick stop for a treat or a coffee, and it excels in providing high-quality, authentic French products that you can grab and go. The focus is on the product itself—the perfect macarons, the flaky croissants, and the strong, flavorful coffee—making it a perfect destination for those who prioritize food quality above all else.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Terrible experience! Walked in at 6:20pm. Theses two were less than welcoming, they didn’t greet us or acknowledge us. When we were looking at the flavors they continued to ignore us. I understand it’s New York but I’m not supposed to help myself right?Customer service, or some kind of acknowledgement would go along way, my husband and I went down the road instead. The establishment lost money. Hire different people or train the ones you have to at least “pretend” to care.
December 10 · Kassie YA bit pricey, but definitely some of the best macarons I’ve ever had !
April 15 · FaithVery good and fresh chicken salad, super tasty macaroons but very dirty tables and sofas, unpleasant and unfriendly staff. Such a shame as the ambience and the quality of the food is great!
October 26 · Emanuele GammeriThe macaroons here are really delicious. If you want a chewy and creamy macaron, I recommend it.
June 09 · Jannie JayMy husband & I looked up good macaroons in NYC and this place popped up. In comparison to other macaroons I've had, although these were pretty, they tasted awful! We felt we wasted our money and the service was poor as well. The cashiers were more interested in socializing than assisting their customers. We will not recommend or ever return to this bakery for our macaroon cravings.
