★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Another good restaurant under Hand Hospitality. Went for dinner for the first time and the food was very good. I liked most of the items we ordered. My first time trying raw marinated crabs and they were very tasty! Spices in the marinade were well balanced and the crab meat was fresh and creamy. The scallop rice was also very good. The rice cake dish was rich as expected so careful if you don’t like something heavy. I also enjoyed the spice squid because it came with cheesed barley rice. Only disappointment was the clam soup. The clams were huge but the meats were hard to eat. Overall good place to get Korean comfort food and friendly service, will come back.
May 27 · Kyle LiuThis spot is great to go with a group of friends! Their portions are large, so come hungry. Prices are extremely fair. Some must gets are the rose tteokbokki, marinated crab with cold noodles, and scallop rice! It gets a little messy to eat, so I suggest not wearing white. Overall, it was flavorful, but a little too greasy. With some dishes, I could see the oil separating from the sauces. Also, their drinks taste strong.I enjoyed their separated rooms, away from the main dining room, but it's a little too dark in a muddy way.
August 02 · Nicole NgHad an amazing dinner! Staff is amazing. Some of the best service I had in town. Food was korean with a twist, at the top of koreanfood trends, and it serves. Tteokpokki's Rose sauce was way better than what I had in Seoul. 뉴욕 장소 추천 많이 해주셔서 감사합니다!! The staff also took into consideration our requests at booking time :)
September 17 · Charlie PSeoul Salon NYC is a charming spot with a unique vibe that leaves you feeling a bit intrigued. The food is solid, though not exactly fireworks for your taste buds. We started with the scallops over rice, which were fresh, but could have used a little more zing to really stand out. The cuttlefish was fresh as well, but it felt like it was missing a bit of seasoning to elevate it. The pork hoc was the highlight of the meal; flavorful and satisfying, though still not quite packing the punch I was hoping for.The restaurant has a nice ambiance, but there's a feeling that it could be a bit more original in its offerings. The pricing seems a little on the higher side for what you get, but it's definitely not a bad experience. My main suggestion would be for the service to be a bit warmer; it would really help make the meal feel more welcoming. Overall, Seoul Salon is a pleasant place to dine, though it leaves you hoping for a little more excitement on the plate and in the atmosphere.
May 19 · KaiRecommended by one of my friends had a light dinner before Lady Gaga down the road. Really delightful meal. Really enjoyed the beer/soju mixed drink, and most of the cocktails were good as well.I really have to say, no doubt best corn cheese I’ve ever had, and the Ttbokbokki was super interesting! kinda like an Italian take on it. They also really were able to get a fantastic texture on the chicken, I would have ordered two plates of it!It’s really a classy place to eat, and loved the weird “mirror” they have when you walk in!Not totally perfect but nothing bad enough to not have it be seriously recommended. The salad was just unimpressive, nobody was really a fan of it, overall just too plain and my friend got the upsell cocktail, the taste of gold? when you have a premium cocktail you really expect it to be absolutely perfect and if all the ones we tried it was my least favorite.I would return as I think they have a bar with a separate menu or so I’m told🤣 I’m not in New York so much there days! But if you’re in the mood for Korean with a twist seriously give this place a try
