★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This place is GREAT! Haven’t been here in quite some time, and was pleased to come back and have this again! I had the house pizza and the Sicilian, and found both delicious. The crusts of the two are super crunchy and had the most amazing textures. I only tried a bit of my friend’s upside down pizza, and decided that it was delicious as well, with the same great textures, nice crust, and delicious sauce. Besides that, I loved the music taste there (I recognized a lot of the songs) and just wanted to say your music there is great! Definitely will return!
July 16 · Sarai AMy friend recommended the place. I got the regular slice and the poached pear slice. The regular slice wasn’t too special. Had some good parmigiana on top. However the bottom of my crust was slightly burnt. The pear pizza was pretty good but it is very messy to eat. There is hot honey on the pizza but the restaurant doesn’t have a bathroom so your hands are sticky after eating. The pizza restaurant is cool itself but I wish there were some tables inside. You can eat at a small little standing areas where you can put a plate on.
August 04 · Dylan MarshallMy favorite classic NYC slice on The NY Times 2025 updated slice list. Admittedly it’s because you don’t have to wait an hour. It’s in par with the best. One downside is that sometimes the crust is too crisp like in the last photo. While known for the square slices, I think this place’s hidden gem is the House SliceAlso recommended hitting up a less gourmet slice at Sal & Carmines. That place has been around since 1959.
July 26 · Nando: City WalkerI visited towards the end of the night, so there wasn't as much left. Place was still crowded for 10:40 at night on a Sunday, but that's New York City. What is also New York City is paying $6 or $7 per slice for pizza. From what I can see they only have squares there. None of the triangle style slices. The pizza was quite tasty. They seem to be a little bit of a kick in the upside down pizza. So if you don't like spicy this might not be the one for you. Overall, pretty good slices
July 06 · Dread InNYI always go for the Angry Nona. the touch of honey makes it extra special and super satisfying. The bruschetta is also delicious; the fresh tomato and basil perfectly balance out the richness of the meat. The poached pear is quite unique too. There’s no seating here, only standing room and the space is small overall, but that’s part of a pizzeria’s charm. Eating greasy honey pizza, listening to Italian songs, and squeezing into the little shop with friends is exactly the kind of experience I enjoyAlso, although the shop is small, it’s very clean after the recent renovation.
