“Wow” What an amazing restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we knew we had picked the perfect spot for Mediterranean cuisine. The ambiance was inviting and elegant, with soft Mediterranean music playing in the background and stunning decor that instantly set the mood.The menu offers a wide variety of options, from cold to hot appetizers. We started with the fried calamari and shrimp both were fresh, crispy, and full of flavor. The quinoa avocado salad was a standout. So fresh and beautifully balanced, it left me speechless.For the main course, the chicken kabobs were grilled to absolute perfection: beautifully charred on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. The mixed grill was equally impressive, featuring filet mignon that was seared and cooked just right.And the dessert? Simply unforgettable. The Syrian ice cream infused with rosewater was delicately aromatic and creamy, and the pistachio ricotta cake was the perfect sweet ending light, nutty, and decadent.Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and elevated Mediterranean dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely loved this spot! The food was so fresh and flavorful — you can taste the quality in every bite. The vibe inside is really nice and cozy, perfect for a chill night out. Staff was super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back soon, everything we tried was amazing!

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would.From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone for an unforgettable evening — one that rivaled, and in some ways reflected, the Mediterranean magic my wife and I experienced during our 12-day trip to Crete, Greece in July 2024. We’re not just lovers of Mediterranean cuisine — we’re seasoned travelers of it. We’ve dined on the sun-kissed shores of Palma de Mallorca, savored seafood on the coast of Spain, and indulged in fresh, authentic flavors on the Greek Isles. So, trust me when I say: this American Mediterranean restaurant is the real deal.Let’s start with the service — because before the first dish hit our table, we were already impressed. The staff, a young, vibrant team, carried themselves with professionalism and warmth. They weren’t doing too much — just the right balance of attentiveness and authenticity. Our waitress was exceptional, the kind that anticipates your needs before you even voice them. And the manager? A gem. Not only is he polished and personable, he’s a true people’s person — he came to our table to personally greet and honor my spiritual daughter, whose birthday we were celebrating. That gesture, that intentional kindness, left an imprint on all of us.Now the food. My God, the food.I ordered the mixed grill platter — lamb kebab, chicken, beef — each bite bursting with flavor, grilled to absolute perfection. Came here for my mom's birthday and had a great time. The service was great, staff was on point taking care of us. The atmosphere was very chill and relaxing. The food was even better, we tried almost every appetizer and it was tasty. I had the lamb chops and they were delicious. Would definitely recommend this location especially for a family gathering.

My wife and I really enjoyed our lunch at Mandaloun. We arrived just after the lunch crowd had left and were able to sit near the kitchen. The pleasant fragrances from the dishes being ordered were very inviting.We ordered the trio hummus and baba ghanoush to start. The different hummus selections were distinctly flavorful as was the presentation.Our server Annabelle (a may have the name slightly wrong) was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu.Our main dishes, both were beef shawarmas, one wrap and the other a platter. My wife had to tell me to slowdown, "this isn't your last meal". The beef was tender and fulfilling. Kudos to the chef for one of the best tasting beef shawarmas.During the end of our meal, we were fortunate enough to have a wonderful conversation with one of the partners, Julianna.Listening to her speak about the restaurant and praising the employees, you get a sense of wonder of her commitment to Mandaloun. Thank you Julianna for sharing.The restaurant is easily accessible off of Route 46 and I80.An added bonus for Marriott Bonvoy cardholders is that Mandaloun is part of the Bonvoy eat around town program (extra reward points).Mandaloun is an all around winner for Mediterranean food.Hope to be back soon.
