★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I was shocked when I saw a dominican restaurant in the ironbound so I was excited to try it. Little did I know it was going to suck. You walk in there is the Colombian colors on the back wall and very loud mexican music playing we couldn’t even hear each other speak. I ordered the tostones rellenos with shrimp in garlic sauce. It smelled great and looked good, but the tostones were sooo soggy, it was disgusting. We ordered chuleta a la parrilla and got fried. The red beans already came poured on the white rice without it being separate. The mango shake the milk had a sour taste to it. First and last time going there. My husband is Dominican could confirm that this is false advertisement and this is not a Dominican restaurant.
June 09 · Patricia AmadorDecent place, congrats for being an entrepreneur but is not tasty…
October 17 · Oswaldo CorreaI finally got to eat Dominican food in the Ironbound, and they did not disappoint! I got mangu with red onions on top, carne estufado, and rice. It’s really good, served buffet style, and they just opened too! Much love from the Tuga community 🇵🇹❤️🇩🇴
July 28 · Cristian Saragoça FerreiraA Saturday at 6:20 am, in my way to Teixeira bakery for brakefast, I saw this restaurant and stop for a mangü. It wasn't ready yet, but the yuca (casaba) with spare ribs didn't disappoint. Everything, from the food to the music to the oatmeal was on point. Prices? A precio de llevecelo (affordable). It was a clean and nice surprise.
March 04 · George RomeroFirst Dominican spot in the Ironbound and its fantastic. Not too expensive and the food is great. Service was also amazing.
