What is Worth Choosing
When visiting Mariscos Sinaloa “el Compa Moy “ truck, the extensive and tempting menu can make choosing a challenge—but several signature dishes truly stand out and are worth prioritizing. The restaurant’s specialty lies in authentic Mexican seafood, particularly the dishes that highlight the Sinaloa style of preparation.
A must-try experience is the Camarones Zarandeados and the Pulpo Zarandeado. Zarandeado refers to a traditional grilling method, often involving a special marinade made with chilies and other spices, and grilling the seafood over charcoal in a special basket (zaranda). This process imparts a deep, smoky flavor and a perfect texture. The Camarones Zarandeados are succulent shrimp grilled with this rich, spicy marinade, while the Pulpo Zarandeado offers tender octopus prepared in the same delectable style. These dishes are hot bar favorites for a reason, promising a bold and satisfying flavor profile that is distinctive to the Pacific coast of Mexico.
From the cold bar, the fresh ceviche and Aguachile Sinaloa are highly recommended. Aguachile, which translates to "chile water," is a dish of raw shrimp cured in lime juice and mixed with chili peppers (often chiltepín), cucumber, and onion. The Aguachile Sinaloa on the menu, featuring cucumber, onion, avocado, cooked and cured shrimp, and octopus, is a powerful, refreshing, and spicy appetizer that is a staple of the region's seafood culture. Reviews specifically highlight the excellent shrimp and octopus ceviche and tacos, praising the freshness and perfect seasoning. For a quick, flavorful treat, the Tacos Capeados Shrimp and Tacos Capeados Fish offer a perfect combination of crispy coating and tender seafood.
For a truly indulgent experience, the Especial Shrimp Boil Louisiana provides a lavish spread, including lobster, shrimp, crab legs, eggs, corn, potatoes, and chorizo, perfect for sharing and capturing the best of both Mexican and Southern-style seafood traditions. Finally, don't forget to pair your meal with an authentic, large-sized Agua Fresca in Jamaica (hibiscus) or Tamarindo (tamarind) flavor for a sweet, cool finish that cuts through the spice and complements the seafood perfectly. Mariscos Sinaloa “el Compa Moy “ truck offers both exceptional value and quality, delivering a little slice of the Mexican coast right here in New Jersey.

May 02 · JeetechPeople that doesn't anything about seafood .it will be good. But when you know about it . It isn't good at all. 👎👎👎
September 13 · Tom CruzI happened to have found them just as they were pulling into their driveway to call it a day and they STILL served me an Aguachiles. Hands down THE best Aguachiles I've ever had. The seafood was so fresh and seasoned just right with spices. I will always recommend this place for seafood. They just do it so damn good.
