Whenever I’m on the road in Peekskill, I make it a point to stop at this McDonald’s location. It’s consistently clean, the staff is friendly and efficient, and the service is fast — exactly what I need during a busy workday.Running Rolling Suds of Fairfield-Westchester means I’m often traveling between jobs in Peekskill, Croton, Yorktown, and other parts of northern Westchester, and this McDonald’s is one of the most reliable spots for a quick break. Whether I’m heading to a roof washing project or a full exterior power washing job, I know I can count on this location for great service. My visit to McDonald's left much to be desired. The initial impression was promising, as the restaurant had a fresh appearance with a well-maintained building, a convenient dual drive-thru setup, and impeccable landscaping. However, my experience went downhill from there.When I placed my order for a number one large with a Coke, I thought I had been clear, speaking loudly and slowly. But to my surprise, I was asked if I wanted it to be a meal, which was puzzling because a "number one" is typically a meal. To make matters worse, I was then asked what drink I wanted, which seemed redundant. Payment was uneventful, and I proceeded to park.The disappointment continued when I opened my meal. The fries had no salt, which led me to brave the pouring rain to obtain some salt packets. The fries were overcooked and lacking in flavor, which was a letdown.Next, I tackled the Big Mac, only to find that the cheese wasn't even melted, and the burger was disappointingly cold. Given my limited 30-minute break, dealing with this subpar meal was frustrating.In summary, while the restaurant's appearance and dual drive-thru system were impressive, the confusion during ordering, lack of salt on the fries, and the poor quality of the Big Mac left me thoroughly dissatisfied with my McDonald's experience.

Every time I go into a business and use the restoom, I always check to see if the bathroom is clean, been doing that for awhile now because it says a lot about the location seeing that I have 10+ yrs in the food industry. 👍🏾**Photo by Esgotgame**

Horrible customer service. They don't know how to process your order and give you what you paid for. AM staff is sharp, but PM staff is straight garbage.
