★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Easily the best Iranian restaurant in New York, nothing else comes close. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming, truly reflecting Iranian culture. The food is absolutely delicious and tastes just like home. A perfect spot if you’re craving authentic Persian flavors and a friendly, familiar vibe.

August 02 · iman ehsanDelicious Persian food! Our server helpfully recommended two great dishes. Everything tasted so fresh and the rice was perfect.
August 11 · Mary-Kathryn SmithWe went to Nasrin's Kitchen for their special Father's Day event to try their kalepache for brunch -- and it did not disappoint! The kalepache was cooked to perfection and tasty. Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was good. The staff were friendly and quick. The vibe inside was cozy and welcoming. Only downside was that the tables for two felt a bit tight and uncomfortable - they were pretty small and really close to each other.I'll be going back to try their regular menu and especially their kebabs. Overall, a good experience!
June 15 · Amin SWarm Hospitality and Authentic Persian Flavors at Nasrin’s KitchenI recently visited Nasrin’s Kitchen, and it truly felt like we were guests at a warm family gathering rather than at a restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. One thing that stood out was how relaxed everything felt — no one rushed us to order, and even after we finished our meals and desserts, we weren’t subtly pushed to leave. Unlike other restaurants where waiters often come by repeatedly asking if you need anything else (hinting it’s time to wrap up), here we felt completely at ease. My friends and I ended up staying from 6 PM to 10 PM!We ordered a variety of dishes to share: Zereshk Polo with chicken, Vaziri Kebab, Gheimeh Nesar, and Fesenjoon with chicken. The food was served beautifully, and they even brought proper serving spoons, which made sharing easier and more thoughtful — a small but very appreciated detail. Before visiting, I had heard some negative reviews from fellow Iranians, which actually kept me from trying the place for almost two years. But honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. I think a lot of the criticism comes down to personal taste. For example, two of my friends love sour-style Fesenjoon and thought it was delicious, while I prefer it sweeter. That doesn’t mean the dish wasn’t good — just different preferences. The Zereshk Polo with chicken was especially nostalgic — it tasted exactly like what you’d get at a good restaurant back home in Tehran. I haven’t come across that same flavor anywhere else in New York. All in all, I truly enjoyed my experience at Nasrin’s Kitchen and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, home-style Persian dining experience. In my opinion, it was even better than Ravagh.
