★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Kiku has become one of my favorite spots in Brooklyn. I come here often and always enjoy their consistently delicious food. Some of my go-to dishes are the shrimp tempura – perfectly crispy with a light batter and served with a sauce that balances sweet and savory beautifully. The udon stir-fried with vegetables is also a comfort dish for me, flavorful and not too heavy. My absolute favorite, though, is the unagidon (grilled eel over rice), which is always fresh and beautifully presented – just like in the photo I’ve shared. The eel has that smoky, sweet glaze that pairs so well with the fluffy rice.To finish, I always try to get their mochi ice cream, especially the cappuccino flavor. Unfortunately, it sells out fast because it’s so popular – but whenever I’m lucky enough to get it, it’s the perfect sweet ending to the meal.Overall, Kiku combines excellent food, great presentation, and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended if you’re in Park Slope!💚
September 19 · 13A13Y .JTrashy in the best way.We ordered the Volcano Roll, Coconut Lobster Roll, and the Shrimp Tempura Roll.Questionable fish, chaos sauces, zero freshness—and somehow, exactly what you need at 9.55pm. You're not here for edomae elegance. You're here for reckless rolls slapped together by a grumpy Chinese chef who doesn’t care about rules, reverence, or Michelin stars. And honestly? It slaps.
June 16 · Su Fen GohI hate writing these reviews but sometimes the experience really is so bad you have to pop off a little bit. I ordered 2 things for delivery after a long travel day. They didn’t include half of my order. I called and they told me to put in an additional order to get my bento box. When I asked if they’d comp me for the extra order she yelled at me and hung up. Would recommend avoiding delivery from here unless you are game to feel bad about yourself
September 15 · Jenny ArimotoI've only ordered from them once and I only got one thing... but I might just go where I kno I can get that one thing just the way I want it next time.Well UNBEKNOWNST to ME....
