★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Two stars because the woman working was nice and the aesthetics are cute.I didn’t want to post this as I’d hoped to contact them privately, but there’s no email on the site and it doesn’t seem like they check their IG. I was in this past week for a sausage egg and cheese over greens. The young woman at the register was admittedly busy due to a packed morning so I had to walk up and check on my order. She handed it to me, I left and began to eat on the way to the train. To my shock there was something firm, brown and not food in my food. I couldn’t tell if it was a paper towel or some sort of cardboard, but it was completely soaked in dressing and buried in between the greens. It was the size of my hand. I immediately walked back, showed her, stepped to the kitchen, returned and asked if I wanted to finish it, have a new one made or get a refund. I asked for the refund and left. She was kind (and maybe shocked as well?), but gave no explanation as to what it was and I don’t recall her ever apologizing. The problem I have is the food just okay AND expensive. There’s also big and little flies all over the place. I was hoping for a fresher menu and cleaner environment after Oh Mercy re-opened, but, sadly, this is the last time I’ll be back.
August 22 · Ashleigh MurrayStopped in on a Monday morning to sit and enjoy coffee and the sunshine. The backyard patio area is a huge plus! There was a bit of a line, but the barista made the drinks quickly and was very kind. I just got an iced latte. Normal price, no complaints about size or taste.Good, casual vibe.
April 30 · Midori GrabowskiThe customer service was excellent, which is hard to find these days. The BLT was delicious, and the place was clean and cozy with an outdoor space.
August 07 · M K3 stars – Cute place, chaotic milk energyThe first time I came here, I ordered a whole milk cappuccino (this is important) and a sausage egg sandwich. Got home to a decent cappuccino and… an egg-only sandwich. No sausage in sight. Fine. Mistakes happen. I’m forgiving.I went back a few times—there was a woman working who made a solid cup of coffee, so I kept returning. Then one Tuesday morning, I walk in and there’s a man behind the counter (plot twist).I order a WHOLE MILK cappuccino. He repeats my order and says “oat milk?” I say, “no, whole milk.” He says again, “oat milk?” Then a woman sitting at the counter (a hero) chimes in, “cow’s milk for her.”I walk home sipping my… oat milk latte. Yes, oat.Look, the attention to detail is not winning any awards, but the café is cute, so I’ll keep showing up and gambling with my dairy fate.Tootles!
April 03 · Morgan DeanThis spot is exactly what I needed! The coffee was just right, a relaxing and chill vibe to hang out, fantastic backyard. The chicken confit sandwich was excellent and the smoked trout toast (in photo). The owner was super friendly and attentive, really wants every single person to have a great time. Can’t wait to have dinner here! 10/10 would recommend!!
