★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1One of my favorite jazz venue on my last Brooklyn trip. It was a mellow Tuesday night in the summer last year and Iftah Kary hosted a solo piano show and followed with a jazz jam. It was very open and relaxed, and the staff that worked the bar were super chill and made a surprisingly mean cortado. The finger food was great, too. Would highly recommend a visit.
August 08 · Max SanchezThis place is without doubt my favorite restaurant in NYC (!)The food is incredible (the potato-leek pizza is out of this world, the hummus is delicious and the babkas are amazing). They have live jazz bands every night and another venue next door with another live band. For me it’s a 10/10 place
July 19 · Dan WeisselbergWe visited this club on New Year’s Eve to ring in the new year. The club doesn’t accept online reservations, and tickets for the live jazz event are $20 per person. The space is relatively small with dim lighting, but the atmosphere is relaxed and laid-back. Different jazz bands take turns performing live, offering an intimate experience with the musicians. Cocktails are available on-site for $15 each. One notable perk is that the club shares its ticketing with the neighboring café, meaning you can freely move next door to enjoy another jazz band’s performance at no extra cost
January 02 · Zhengran ShangThis place is a vibeeeee. Loved it☺️.I went here for a Saturday night date and it couldn’t have been a better spot for that. They had two locations within a few feet of each other. We stopped by the first location which had lots of open tables available. Had some hummus (that was delicious) and wine while listening to some relaxed jazz music. It was perfect to start the night here since it wasn’t too loud which allowed easy conversation. After, we headed over to the second location. This was an experience! The second location was larger, swankier, with lots of seating and a bar. What made the experience though was the UNBELIEVABLE jazz performances. More upbeat, lively, and louder than the first location and perfect for the spot. I’ll definitely be back☺️
July 26 · Rebecka EhrenpreisI did not have food but the cocktail I had was good. This place is very people and music centered, they just want you to have a good time. It took a little to get my drink but the bartenders were nice. I was traveling solo and didn't know anyone but felt like I could enjoy the space and focus on the music. They do residencies for local bands who they want to return regularly which is a great service to musicians as well, and every performer was exceptional. It's been a while since I've been in a place that feels this way and it is something special.
