★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It's a small shop in Chinatown that's well-known for its steamed rice rolls, priced at just $1.50. You place your order right at the window, and although it's a popular spot, the wait wasn't too long. There's no seating, but many people stand and enjoy their food right in front of the store. I recommend it if you're looking for a quick, tasty takeout bite. It was my first time trying streamed rice rolls and it was good, just add some of the condiments they have to it and you will love it.
September 06 · Travel With ChynaWe missed the M9 and decided to hustle over a block for rice rolls over at Sun Hing Lung Ho Fun Tofu - and we’re so glad we did. Only in Chinatown can you get so much good food for 4 people (we only have 3 but one is a teen!) for less than $20! We ordered the dried shrimp rice roll (yummy and has fresh green onion!!!), fresh shrimp rice roll, beef rice roll, pork rice roll, fresh tofu, and decided to try the jelly they had stacked on a table (it’s jello that comes with a sweet sauce to pour on top) and the grand total was less than $20!This isn’t Cheung Fun Noodles but the variety and kindness of the nice woman at the window made this just as great! Definitely a must go for rice rolls if you’re shopping at the grocery and hangry :)
August 03 · Solange HansenI will admit I am new to rice rolls but something about this place - the freshness (they literally cook it in right in front of you), the perfect texture, the sauces (combination of the hoisin, soy, peanut? I think I got that right) is magic. Perfect breakfast for under $3 (would still be perfect for double or triple that)
September 05 · Neil O'FarrellVery authentic spot! I came around 10 AM—no line, and only waited about 3 minutes for the fresh veggie rice rolls. I wanted to try the fried tofu, but they were out, so the lady kindly offered me the sweet tofu instead—and it was so good! I totally see why this place is so popular with locals. I found it through TikTok and was not disappointed—super fresh, delicious, and only $5? Wow!!!
June 21 · Diana DvorskáGot the shrimp rice roll, total $4. Overall 6.8/10, I had better rice rolls elsewhere. But the price here is cheaper. One issue is that they use cheap generic watered down soy sauce. If they had used the more traditional dim sum soy sauce for rice rolls this place would be a hit.
