Pokito Introduce
Nestled in the heart of South Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Pokito is a vibrant, must-visit destination that expertly fuses two dynamic culinary and cocktail cultures: Latin and Asian. Far from being a traditional neighborhood pub, Pokito defines itself as a "Cocktail bar" that thrives on its "eclectic" and "upbeat" identity. It is a shining example of the modern, inclusive spirit of New York City, proudly identifying as "women-owned" and welcoming to all communities, including being explicitly "LGBTQ+ friendly" and a "Transgender safespace."
The atmosphere at Pokito is deliberately "Casual," "Cozy," and undeniably "Trendy," making it an immediate favorite for "Groups" and anyone looking for a lively, memorable night. The decor reflects its "Asian and Latin" theme, featuring everything from Asian decorations to a heavily tequila-influenced cocktail list. Guests consistently praise the bar for its "Great cocktails" and "Fast service," making it a perfect spot for unwinding after work or kicking off a weekend adventure. Crucially for locals in the know, Pokito is celebrated for its truly "Great happy hour," offering both "Happy hour drinks" and "Happy hour food."
While the space is "fairly small," this intimacy only adds to its charm, creating a high-energy, friendly environment where patrons can enjoy everything from frozen slushies and specialty handmade cocktails to a delicious selection of Latin-Asian fusion snacks and tacos. Pokito is a complete experience, offering not just drinks, but also "Food," and the opportunity for "Dancing," solidifying its role as an essential piece of Williamsburg's diverse nightlife.
Pokito is centrally located in a bustling, easily accessible section of Williamsburg, making it a convenient stop for Brooklyn residents and visitors alike.

Pokito goes beyond a standard bar experience, curating a full slate of offerings that cater to a fun, social evening with an emphasis on unique drinks and approachable food.
- Specialty Cocktail Program: Features a wide array of "Cocktails," including creative handmade drinks and popular "frozen" selections, utilizing "Hard liquor" like tequila, rum, and gin, often with unique Asian-Latin twists (e.g., drinks featuring matcha, ube, and yuzu).
- Comprehensive Bar Menu: Offers a selection of "Alcohol" options beyond cocktails, including "Beer," "Wine," and sake, catering to diverse preferences.
- Premier Happy Hour Deals: Hosts an acclaimed "Happy hour" that can run until 8 PM on weekdays, a great perk for the after-work crowd. This includes discounted "Happy hour drinks" and affordable "Happy hour food" options (e.g., small plates, tacos).
- Latin-Asian Fusion Food: Serves "Food" focused on tacos, burritos, poke bowls, and "Small Plates" such as Elote Street Corn and Chicken Karaage Bites, offering a delicious, casual dining experience without a formal, full dinner service.
- Dine-In and Takeout Options: Provides flexibility with “Dine-in” service, outdoor seating, and “Takeout” for those on the go.
- Nightlife Entertainment: The bar’s “Upbeat” and “Trendy” atmosphere is often complemented by music and "Dancing" opportunities, making it a lively late-night spot.

- Flexible Payment Options: Accepts "Credit cards," "Debit cards," and "NFC mobile payments," ensuring a seamless transaction experience.
Pokito’s appeal lies in its distinctive personality and the high quality of its core offerings, making it a memorable spot among Williamsburg’s many bars.
- Unique Latin-Asian Fusion Theme: The "eclectic" cross between Asian and Latin themes is a major highlight, apparent in both the decorative accents (Asian decorations) and the menu (tequila-heavy cocktails alongside sake, tacos, and poke bowls). This creates a fresh and exciting experience not commonly found in the borough.
- Top-Tier Cocktails: Known for having "Great cocktails," with creative names (like the 'Rick Ross' or 'Unicorn Tears') and unique ingredients (matcha, thai chili, yuzu). Reviewers consistently note the quality and deliciousness of these "handmade cocktails" and specialty frozen slushies.
- Women-Owned and Inclusive: Its identity as a "women-owned" business and its commitment to being a "LGBTQ+ friendly" and "Transgender safespace" makes it an important and welcoming spot, reinforcing the diverse and inclusive character of New York nightlife.
- Extended Happy Hour: A critical selling point for the local workforce, the happy hour often extends later than many competitors (until 8 PM on a Wednesday, for example), offering genuine value on both drinks and “snacks” to the after-work crowd.
- Atmosphere and Vibe: The bar is celebrated for its "cute, casual" and "fun" vibe. The small, intimate space, often with neon lights and eclectic art, creates a "Trendy" energy that is perfect for a social outing with "Groups."

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1A fun little cocktail bar, eclectic and maybe just slightly indecisive, they have a mixture of frozen and handmade cocktails, a few beers and wines. The theme is a cross between Asian and Latin - they feature tacos, have a heavily tequila-influenced menu, and also lots of Asian decorations as well as sake. It’s a fun spot, the cocktails maybe slightly expensive for the vibe, but upbeat and cheery.
August 31 · Blake RasmussenCute, casual cocktail bar with a great happy hour! I went in after work on a Wednesday night. The happy hour goes until 8 which is nice. I ordered the Rick Ross which was very yummy. The place itself is fairly small, but luckily it wasn’t too crowded so there were still places to sit when I went in. It’s seat yourself and you order at the bar. They offer some snacks but do not have a full dinner menu.
February 20 · Midori GrabowskiTiny hole in the wall serving amazing cocktails! I loved the vibes in here, it’s super intimate (probably room for 20 people jam packed). An extra special treat was the halloween jell-o shots, which both look and tasted amazing!
October 07 · Cassidy SmithAn absolute gem! The vibes and atmosphere are so cute/perfect. The cocktails are amazing. Very cute bar! The bartenders are friendly and overall highly recommend this place.
December 13 · Rebecca RodasSuch an underrated spot!! It had been on my list for a while and I finally made it over there - already can’t wait to go back. The ambiance is so fun, bartender was friendly and helpful, and the drinks were delicious. They also have Jell-O shot flights! Didn’t seem super alcoholic but they were so fun. Excellent place to grab a drink or go on a weekend night!
