★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Post No Bills is the neighborhood bar. No frills, no bullshit—just a real-deal dive that knows exactly what it is.They’re not cash only anymore, which is nice, but nothing else has changed, thankfully. Drinks are completely reasonable—$7 beer and a shot special—plus happy hour from 7 to 9. Backyard patio. One TV, always something good on. And yeah, the bathroom’s clean. That tells you everything you need to know.Trivia on Mondays. Open till 3am most nights. All the bartenders are great. I want to lift up Ed though because he’s the GOAT. He’s the reason I walk in when I’m unsure if I’m going home or not. A bartenders bartender, a genuine person and he’ll make your visit worth it.They give a damn. The regulars are good people. You’re not alone here.Easy to settle in. Even easier to come back.
July 31 · Joshua Thies (Josh)My favorite bar in new york. the bartenders are all hot and have great taste in music. the conversation is often interesting and intellectual, evoking the salons and penny universities of the first french republic. Ah, post no bills, where the alcohol and discussion flow freely, where the ladies are oh so beguiling, where the crooked smiles of roguish drunks disguise a great wit! With every tilt of my flagon i am relieved of my saturnine condition. A place for philosophers, outcasts, artists, vagrants, poets, ne'er-do-wells, beautiful strange things, proletarian revolutionaries, jocular hooligans, punk rockers, and celestial beings. Vive la Post! Try the shrimp scampi its insane.
July 15 · Jack KatzCash only. Dope bartender.Great happy hour, also have a $6 beer + shot combo which is amazing. Vibes and decor are really good without being trashy. Awesome neighborhood dive bar and hope it stays that way. Will be back here a ton.
June 08 · Jasraj SinghI stoped in early on a Monday evening with a friend after getting dinner in the area. It was deserted when we arrived but business picked up as the evening when on. The bartendee was very friendly and polite to us.Cash only with an upscale dive bar atmosphere. I'll be sure to come back another night to drink here again.Drink prices were reasonable if not a little cheep for a bar in the neighborhood but all the more reason to go back.
January 22 · JosephHonestly only worth going to on Thursdays or Tuesdays..... went on a Monday night during 'trivia' and it was oddly cliquey and the bartender was only interested in chatting to friends...... Went back the next night with 2 buddies and had a really fun time..... vibe was good, music was good, we stayed until close. Thursday they do karaoke whhich my girlfriend loved. Unsure of any of the bartenders names but chick/dude on Tue/Thu were sweet
