★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I always used to visit their other Brooklyn branch, so I decided to try this Bay Ridge location to see if it lived up to my expectations—and it absolutely did. This café is amazing, serving authentic Yemeni flavors and spices that are beautifully incorporated into their teas and lattes. Every single drink we tried was delicious. My sisters and I ordered a variety, and each one was perfectly balanced and flavorful. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff who make the experience even better. Qahwah House has a way of bringing a taste of Yemen into every cup, and it truly feels like a good add to cafes in Bay Ridge. I’ll definitely be coming back again.
August 22 · Hanan (Hanan)I seriously love this spot. I used to go all the way to Williamsburg just to get their Adani Chai, so I was really happy when they opened up in my neighborhood. The staff are genuinely so kind — every single person is so friendly and makes you feel welcome. And their lattes? Absolutely amazing. If you’re a coffee enthusiast, then you must try their coffee! It’s so addictive! Not to mention the honey comb bread. So freaking delicious!
April 22 · Suzanne KanjThe chocolate croissant was delicious and the coffee was good — I ordered a dirty espresso chai latte. The only downside was the service: even though I had ordered online, the staff member finished eating his breakfast before making my drink, so I had to sit and wait while he ate. Otherwise, the food and coffee quality were solid, and I’d come back.
August 30 · Clint WatsonI love my local Qahwah House cafe! It's close to where I live so I go there often to complete my online work. I usually just order a yemeni tea with sugar and no milk-delicious every time. There are many yemeni cafe in Bayridge and I feel this location has the best tasting tea. ☕️ I have also tried a couple of their coffee items (cortado and yemeni latte), good balance with spices and sweetness, and expresso has a good flavor. There is a variety of pastries and sweets available as well. I've had the honey comb bread and the tomato/olive croissant, both are great compliments to a coffee or tea. The atmosphere is comfortable. There is always a nice aroma of spices when you walk inside. In the mornings there is adhkar/quran playing softly, the rest of the day traditional yemeni music is played at a reasonable volume; people can work in peace or have conversations without having to shout. I really appreciate how they keep the atmosphere authentic to the yemeni theme and dont play loud pop music. The staff is efficient at keeping this rather large and busy cafe clean at all times of the day. I have seen staff immediately go to wipe tables, windows, and other surfaces as soon as customers finish with an area. The staff is polite and attentive to all customers from what I have experienced and observed. The baristas are very quick and skilled at making everything on the menu. Overall, a very well deserved 5 stars.
July 28 · Romina FariasQahwah House is clean with a warm, welcoming vibe. Their pastries are absolutely delicious — fresh, flaky, and full of flavor. And the coffee is perfect every time. It’s the perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, or just treat yourself to something special. Highly recommend!
