What is Worth Choosing
The experience at Rice & Beans is defined by the quality and value of its traditional Caribbean-Latin American fare. For first-time visitors and longtime fans alike, several items and qualities are consistently worth choosing. The heart of the menu lies in the "rice and beans" plates—for instance, the popular Baked Chicken is an excellent entry point, often served with a generous portion of rice and plantains for a complete, satisfying meal. While one review noted an exception of underwhelming flavor, the overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding the incredible value and large portions suggests that the overall quality is highly regarded by the community.

Beyond the savory mains, the beverage selection is a must-try. The Dominican shake Morir Sonando, a creamy orange juice and milk concoction, is a refreshing, traditional accompaniment to any meal. September 17 · Vee D.My girlfriend and I came in for breakfast today and had one of the best meals we’ve had, in NYC (or anywhere else) at any price point. Let alone the fact that the portions are huge and the prices are incredible and the person serving us was friendly and helpful. Everything here is perfect, from the prices to the tastes to the portions to the people.I enjoyed it so much I had to look up the appropriate way to say thank you- you may need this when you go: ¡Esa comida estuvo a otro nivel, gracias!
July 16 · Benji ThomasGreat food, horrible service, they never have deliveries available after 4PM and the charge you more at the restaurant when you pick it up personally than when you order a delivery. For example: if you order a lunch special to be delivered to you, they will put the beans separately and charge you 12 dollars. But if you go in person they want to charge 16 if you want your beans separately. Does it make sense? No. 1 star.

August 01 · David FloydAfter seeing this many times from my co workers, I finally got to Rice and Beans. My co worker got it for me as takeout (so I can't rate the inside/service), so this is just strictly based on the food. The container was packed and very neatly packaged. The chicken is just as flavorful as it looks, however the rice and the beans didn't match. It lacked the authenticity that I was looking for, but the chicken carried the meal!I will be getting chicken from here again yes, if it's sold alone.
