★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Sahara Halal Cart in Forest Hills, consistently provides excellent service and generous portions, making it a top choice for convenient, high-quality meals. It receives a perfect 10/10 rating from me.
May 08 · Wayne SpencerAs far as street food is concerned this is an excellent spot. Its on 71st ave between Queens Blvd and Austin street right ouside the Forest Hills 71ave station. Its basically a 24/7 spot but they take a break between 5 am and 10am so no service during breakfast hours. Its operated by a young man from Afghanistan (he does not own the cart) who is very polite and makea your order to your liking. He would add topings and cook the food the way you like it. The meat is delivered every day around 10 so its relatively fresh. The portion size is large, I cant finish rice with chicken in one sitting so two people can share one box. I dont like the fact that they still use Styrofoam boxes. Overall its an great place for halal food.
