Seasons 52 Introduce
Welcome to the New Jersey resident's guide to a truly exceptional dining experience right in the heart of Bergen County. Seasons 52 in Paramus stands out as more than just a restaurant; it’s a commitment to a fresh, health-conscious, and seasonally inspired culinary journey. Located conveniently at the iconic Garden State Plaza, this establishment successfully marries a casually sophisticated atmosphere with a refreshing approach to fine dining. For locals seeking a balance between gourmet flavor and mindful eating, Seasons 52 is a destination that delivers on its promise.
This isn't your average mall-tethered eatery. Seasons 52 has built its reputation on a core philosophy: delivering a seasonal menu with ingredients at their peak of freshness. The name itself hints at this dedication, signifying that the menu changes four times a year with each season, plus 52 wines offered by the glass. The restaurant proudly skips the fryer entirely, relying instead on oak-fire grilling and brick-oven roasting to caramelize foods and bring out natural flavors. This cooking technique is a cornerstone of their commitment to offering dishes that are not only intensely flavorful but are also “naturally lighter.” In fact, a signature highlight is that all of their main menu offerings are typically kept under 600 calories—a true gift for the New Jersey diner who loves to indulge without compromise.
When you step inside, you'll find an environment that is at once romantic, cozy, and upscale. It’s an ideal spot for everything from an important business lunch to a quiet, memorable dinner. The excellent service, noted by many local patrons, ensures that your experience is seamless, attentive, and perfectly paced for your special occasion or even just a well-deserved weekday treat.

What is Worth Choosing
Seasons 52 in Paramus presents a compelling case for being the go-to spot for New Jersey diners looking for a fine dining atmosphere with a significant emphasis on fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and health-conscious food. What makes it genuinely worth choosing is its ability to seamlessly blend several highly desirable dining attributes into one consistent experience.
The core value proposition—flavorful food naturally under 600 calories—is a rarity in a world where indulgence often means sacrificing health. For those who frequently dine out, having this option means less worry and more freedom, turning every meal into a "restaurant-gifted ordering spree," as one reviewer noted. This philosophy extends from starters like the fresh Lump Crab Cake and the flavorful Ahi Tuna Tartare to the substantial entrees.
The menu depth is remarkable, catering to nearly every palate and dietary requirement, a critical factor for groups. Whether you are craving a steakhouse quality cut like the Wood-Grilled Filet Mignon, fresh Seafood restaurant selections such as the Cedar Plank-Roasted Salmon or the Brick Oven-Roasted Chilean Sea Bass, or diverse options for a Vegan or Vegetarian restaurant experience like the Black Lentil Bolognese or the Brick-Oven Seasonal Gnocchi, Seasons 52 has a standout dish. Even the lighter fare, such as the Maui Tuna Crunch or the Wood-Grilled Tenderloin Entrée Salad, is praised for its quality and fresh components.
Furthermore, the establishment excels in creating a truly pleasurable atmosphere. The Wine bar is a destination in itself, boasting one of the best wine programs in the area with 52 diverse options by the glass, ensuring a perfect pairing for every seasonal dish. The cocktail program, featuring unique seasonal cocktails like the Hawaiian Pineapple Cosmopolitan and the Blueberry Lemon Splash, adds a refreshing, contemporary twist to the beverage offerings.
For New Jersey locals who value high-quality ingredients, a beautiful dining setting, attentive service, and the ability to maintain a healthy lifestyle while enjoying New American fine dining, Seasons 52 at the Garden State Plaza is undeniably the right choice. It transforms the fine dining experience from an occasional, heavy indulgence into a sustainable, and highly enjoyable, part of a balanced life.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1When I think of mall-tethered restaurants, something in me immediately decides not to expect much. But Seasons 52 surprised me.The restaurant is located in the Westfield Plaza mall, accessible from both inside and outside the mall through its own entrance. We arrived through the latter and I was surprised to find a quiet, classy space that that if you were seated in one of the interior spaces as we were, you would never know you were actually inside a bustling mall.Besides the space, the menu is another happy surprise, promising seasonal fare and - best yet - ALL of their menu offerings are under 600 calories. For a foodie who regularly struggles to watch her calorie intake when dining out, this felt like a rare, restaurant-gifted ordering spree. My husband loved his Maui Tuna crunch salad, which certainly lived up to its name with all kinds of textures. He was especially impressed by the freshness and quality of the seared tuna. I decided to go with the soup and flatbread pairing, which proved to be another solid choice. Aside from wishing my chicken tortilla soup had a little more actual chicken, I had no complaints.Service is excellent. Our food was somehow prepared with the efficiency of a fast food restaurant and delivered by our server with the warmth and earnest attention of a fancier establishment.
July 24 · Jane CEverything here was truly outstanding. From the second we walked in and were greeted by the host to the second that we left, everything exceeded our expectations. The service was incredible (thank you Liz!). The food was on another level (thanks for all the recommendations Jerry!)We had the artichoke hummus, tuna tartare, lobster bisque for appetizers. For dinner we had the Chilean sea bass with a side of scallops + the wild caught salmon with a side of shrimp skewers. The flavors of all of the dishes were either grilled or brick oven and my mouth is watering just thinking about it all. We cannot wait to return for a special event.
July 20 · Christine AaronLunch was perfect! Food was delicious and delivered hot. Service was excellent and we had a great time catching up with friends!
July 26 · Camille GESeasons 52 is one of those places that never disappoints. The atmosphere is warm and inviting—perfect for a casual night out or a special dinner. I love that the menu is seasonal and focused on fresh, quality ingredients, which makes every visit feel unique. The service was excellent—attentive but never intrusive. Overall, Seasons 52 is a solid choice if you’re looking for delicious, lighter fare in a relaxed, polished setting.
July 13 · Nea BacolodSeasons 52 was the perfect choice for our Thanksgiving dinner, offering a great dining experience overall.Parking was a breeze, as there were plenty of spots available, making the arrival hassle-free. We were greeted warmly as soon as we walked in and seated immediately, which set a positive tone for the evening. Our waiter was fantastic—professional, friendly, and even threw in a little humor, making us feel right at home. The sangria was a standout! It was spectacular—refreshing and full of flavor, definitely a top hit of the evening. The Thanksgiving meal itself was very good. The turkey, stuffing, and potatoes were all perfectly seasoned and hit the mark for a festive feast. It truly felt like a well-crafted holiday meal. However, the dessert didn't quite live up to expectations. Instead of the traditional Thanksgiving pie, they offered something called "minis," which were just okay. While it was a nice attempt at variety, it didn’t evoke the same comforting, nostalgic feeling that a slice of pie would.Overall, Seasons 52 delivered a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner with great food and service, but the dessert was a bit of a letdown. Still, it was a memorable experience, and I’d definitely consider coming back next year!
December 05 · Celeste C.My husband and I normally go to Seasons 52 on a regular basis and dine inside the restaurant and are quite happy and satisfied with their service and meals. Today, Hubby and I arrived at 6:35 and decided to dine outside. The Host did not recommend the 2 tables next to the door, but the one after the table that was next to the door. We sat and as we waited I noticed one couple was assigned to the 1st table by the door and then another couple at the other table by the door. They were waited on and received their water and drinks and appetizers. I decided to get up and walk back in the restaurant to the host and asked if my husband and I were forgotten. I then see how the host is telling our waitress something and she looked upset. When the waitress comes to us she apologizes as she did not know she had the table. Jenelly was very sweet and kind. The manager Neyda, came out and stated our 1st drinks were on the house. Hubby and I put in our order, appetizers and main course. My husband gets his appetizers first and I get mine 10mins later. I finished my appetizer about 7:05 and we get our meals at 7:50pm. My main meal was a raw Tuna Salad with grilled scallops and grilled shrimp on skewers. A whole 45 mins later mind you the 2 couples that were seated after us had finished their meals and left. The bill was ridiculous and I did not eat my main meal or scallops and shrimp. As I'm explaining to the Manager Neyda, how I felt regarding the late service, all she did was give me a 1 up eyebrow look as if I was exaggerating and was dismissive. That's when I told her I was not going to pay for my meal, which I did not get to eat and enjoy at the restaurant. I guess all she was worried about is sales and events. The executive Chef, Matthew Christopher was nice and gave a sincere apology. However, at that point I was HANGRY.... I left so dissatisfied and disappointed. Make sure if you sit outside to dine you're not forgotten!
