★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Stumbled upon this mithai shop with my family, and it was an absolute gem! The sweets were incredibly fresh and flavorful- the best I’ve ever had in NYC (and I’m a native New Yorker). What made the experience even more special was the owner’s warmth. He welcomed us like old friends and shared stories about his journey for making sweets. We’ll definitely be back again soon!
June 24 · VickiAmazing sweets, ladu and gulab jamuns are so delicious! Didn’t get a chance to try the famous samosas yet, hopefully on our next trip!Update - We got sweets for a major wedding event and everything was exceptional! Even though the drive was more than an hour it was well worth it for such an important event!
November 05 · Nabeel SheikhWe came to get some samosas. The owner apologized that they had to be fried and offered us samples of their sweets to help pass the time... Wow! I had never tasted sweets this good in my life before. So fresh and high quality. Almost like a religious experience. The samosas were outstanding as well. Thank you!
February 17 · Dirk EusterbrockSincerely one of the nicest store experiences I’ve ever had! Generosity & hospitality were unmatched. I’d never tried Pakistani sweets before; I really appreciated being offered samples. Everything was delicious and affordable. The samosas were freshly fried and the dough was perfect. Can’t wait to go back!!
July 28 · K BI am not a big fan of Indian/Pakistani foods or sweets and I’ve tasted a few things, but I’ve had THE BEST experience at Shan’s Sweets!!! My cousins were visiting and wanted Indian sweets so I went to the closest place Google sent us to and WOW! The warm welcome extended to us, and the generosity was incomparable! Shan offered us so much samples we were full! He educated us on how he makes them, and the high quality ingredients used to make these awesome desserts. I can’t remember the names of the sweets but I LOVE the Multani halwa - his own creation where you won’t find in any other sweet shop!! The Julah Jamoon is unmatched. He explained why it tasted so good, why it was different, and how it is made. The prices are very reasonable, too. Shan is very personable and you can see how much he enjoys making these desserts.
