I tried the HK Milk Tea ice cream at Soft Swerve, and it definitely captures the flavor of Hong Kong’s classic brew bold, malty, and creamy with that distinct tea bitterness smoothed out by milk. At first, the taste is really enjoyable, especially if you’re a milk tea lover.That said, after a few bites it does get a little heavy. The flavor, while authentic, doesn’t really change or lighten as you go, so it can feel tiring to finish the whole cup. I’d recommend it more as a “share” flavor, or something to try once for the novelty.Soft Swerve is known for their creative takes on Asian-inspired flavors, and I respect that they went with something so culturally iconic. HK milk tea has roots in British colonial Hong Kong, combining strong black tea with evaporated or condensed milk so it’s fun to see it reimagined in frozen form.I recommend to pair it with a lighter flavor or get it in a swirl to balance things out that way you get the best of the HK milk tea taste without it feeling overwhelming.

I was checking in for some dessert and came upon this place. What caught my eye is the unique flavors they offer. You can choose either the ice cream they have on display or the ones from the machine. I chose the ones from their cooler because those flavors are what I wanted. The service was great and what I got satisfied me. Definitely will be back!

Cool little soft serve ice cream stall in the food hall of Tangram mall. I tried the Woodside which is a Ube flavored soft serve with toasted coconut and small little mochi pieces. It was very flavorful and delicious. I also tried the strawberry lychee hard ice cream and it was unique and tasty. Great ice cream!!!

I have been meaning to try this place for a while and I finally did. I love the melt in your mouth texture and the flavour of the ube. Definitely recommend. The person behind the counter had such a cool vibe and was super nice!
